At Divergently, we're invested in women's mental health at the individual level, but also at the policy level! Today, we're excited to share that alongside Glamour and Paid Leave for All, we're participating in a national campaign to pass paid family leave. Why paid leave? Because money and mental health are intertwined. Families in America lose more than $22 billion a year in wages without the support of a federal paid leave program. There is a cost, and we all pay it — workers, businesses, and the economy lose as a whole. What has paid leave cost you? Wages? Your relationships? Health? Share your story in the comments below or sign the petition (link in comments) to help us make paid leave a national policy. #PaidLeaveForAll. #NoPaidLeaveCostMe

ZERO. That's how many weeks of paid leave working citizens of the United States get a year. It is one of only 6 countries in the world that doesn't have a national paid leave policy. This is inhumane and outrageous. It's time for the federal government to get with the times and prove they care about families. Sign this letter to demand policymakers finally commit to passing paid leave, and give all working people the right to care for themselves and their families without losing a paycheck. https://lnkd.in/edBM26f8

Domestic workers are care workers, and there can be no gender equality without adequate investments in care that ensure decent work for domestic workers. Check out our latest brief on the topic ✨ #decentwork #genderequality #investinwomen #domesticworkers
Globally, 76 million domestic workers, mostly women, care for our children, ageing relatives, and our homes. And yet often, they have no way of meeting their own care needs. Because when they are not covered by labour and social security laws they don’t have maternity leave, medical leave or retirement rights. As we mark #InternationalWomensDay, it's crucial to advocate for their inclusion in national care policies. 👉https://ow.ly/rHM050QOrg6 #IWD2024 #InvestInWomen #RatifyC189

Benefits aren't important Said nobody⬇️ Paternity leave in the UK is 2 weeks. I was on Paternity leave in November 2020 for 6 weeks. And again in June 2022 for 6 weeks. 12 weeks Paternity leave and 12 weeks full pay. My wife had 2 c-sections and second time a uterine rupture. Probability of ⬆️ = 0.5% Being off meant I could look after my sons and my wife without worrying about money. And made me feel valued as an employee. To summarise: Providing excellent benefits makes your employees feel: 1. Valued 2. Work harder 3. Happy Let me know the best benefits that you have come across in the comments below.

Mums, Dads, everyone! We have an important question to ask... Is 2 weeks of paternity leave enough? In my opinion, it isn't enough but also Strativ Group thinks the same. That's why Strativ Group offers 9 months of fully paid paternity leave. Yes, you read it right!! Let's look at what the people of Leeds understand and think of Paternity Leave. #parentsofstrativ #marketleading #worldleading #9monthsfullypaid
