Visa unveiled new Instant Savings offers for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in North America. Through the Visa SavingsEdge website, eligible Visa Small Business card holders can now access savings and discounts on business-related services and goods. The introduction of these offers comes as running a business remains costly and many small business owners are seeking ways to reduce expenses, according to the press release. Visa found that key concerns for SMBs include inflation, economic uncertainty and interest rates. https://ow.ly/cjxY50Q9KkE

Visa’s latest quarterly reports show, as usual, strong growth in the amount of commercial and B2B payments they handle. It’s a reminder that commercial transactions handled by Visa have grown a staggering 43% in just two years – to nearly $1 trillion in 2023. Historically, most of Visa’s transaction growth comes from credit. So this is a strong indicator that B2B credit card transactions have increased in number again, as they have for years.
