🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 Reebok reunion 2024 Last week I had the honor of attending the Reebok reunion hosted by Paul Fireman. As with many in attendance, I was fortunate to begin my career in athletic footwear and apparel at Reebok. While job searching on campus at Kellogg, Reebok was recruiting for an Associate Product Manager for the Tennis category, a dream job which I hardly knew existed at the time. With a newly minted MBA, collegiate tennis experience and a few humbling years on the professional tennis tour, I began at the Reebok campus in Stoughton, Massachusetts with lots of energy but not much experience. Little did I know then how significant my Reebok beginnings would be in launching a long, exciting, and rewarding career. Hearing the founders story from Paul Fireman himself last week was an awesome reminder of what courageous and visionary leadership looks like. And witnessing Angel Martinez recount early brand partnerships and breakthrough activations was a lesson in what it takes to truly be a challenger brand, win the hearts and minds of consumers and take on industry behemoths. A lot has transpired since those early days — for Reebok and for Reebok alums; being in the room last week was a powerful reminder of the significant and lasting role people play in the lives and careers of others. Thank you Paul Fireman, Angel Martinez Martinez, Rose Anderson, Bill Bettencourt, Martha (Marty) Blue, Mary Carroll, Linda Carter, Donna Caston Christerson, Judy Ringel Close, Christopher Cohen, Velma Coffey, Mary (Creedon) O'Brien, Jessica Del Genio, Dave Dobrzyski, Catherine Beldotti Donlan, Peter Espo, Matt Feiner, Craig Feller, Craig Franklin, John Frascotti, Traci Gentry, Dianne Hayes, Bill Holmes (RIP), Steve Gardner, Que Gaskins, Nerissa Gibert, Brenda Goodell, Steve Hagen (RIP), Lisa Halbower, Hallgren David, David Helter, Teri Scally Kinsella, David Kneis, kelly lowell, Meredith Lardie, Dave Larson, Gary Marmer, Mike Metcalf, Rob Michaelis, David Mischler, John Morgan, Jon Morris, Kerry Oberg, Lou Panaccione, Stuart Pelkey, Michele Pytko, Beth Rice, Joel Richards, Joel Rusnak, Peter Roby, Mary Russell, Bill Scheidler, Chris St Pierre, Lisa S., Ray Tonkel, Terrence Tracey, Ann Williams, Pete Worley and so many, many more. With gratitude to the organizing committee. And with special thanks to Duncan Finigan (RIP) for hiring me all those years ago. #lifeisnotaspectatorsport 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧

I looked thru the event photos on Facebook. I was there and so many people are showing up in the photos that I had no idea were there as well! I guess just too many people to get to in a short time frame. Sorry I missed you and it’s been great to see how successful you’ve been in your respective career post RBK!

Wendy Yang, I honestly don’t recall if our paths crossed during the 11+ years I worked at Reebok as IP counsel, beginning in June 1988. Nonetheless, the group of Reebok alums you thanked overlaps so much with the people who made my Reebok career so rewarding, educational, and just plain fun, that it’s likely you and I met at some point or other. The reunion was everything you said. Deepest thanks to Ann Williams and the rest of the organizing team for making it happen. I hope there will be another at some point. There simply wasn’t enough time to reconnect with all the attendees I knew. #BecauseLifeIsNotASpectatorSport®️ | #Reebok

Such a fun night! Great to see you Wendy! I felt like I had 30 four- minute conversations that night. Wish we could've spent more time catching up!

Thanks Wendy! It's such an honor to be mentioned by you. So many great times over the years. Would love to see more product managers and designers next time. We could raise more money for Duncan and connect with more people. There are so many on your list that I didn't know were there!
