Last week, we attended and sponsored the 7x24 Exchange Carolinas Chapter golf outing! Our team was well-represented by Raymond Doyle, PE, LEED AP (Managing Director, Science & Technology), Drew Zahradka, PE, Fitwel Amb. (Senior Project Manager), and Rhonda Jensen (Senior Business Development Manager), along with Brian B. and Tom G. It was a fantastic day of golf and networking. We also had a booth on the green with a puzzle of our hosting city, Charlotte, NC, as a giveaway, providing us with a great opportunity to connect with fellow participants throughout the event. #WBEngineers #7X24Exchange #GolfOuting

In celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion, the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (SNMVC)—the first LGBTQIA+ visitor center in the National Park Service—has officially opened its doors, and we are proud to have been a part of its design! This center stands as a powerful testament to the unyielding spirit that sparked the global LGBTQIA+ rights movement, and Kristen Pecci (Team Leader) attended the grand opening last Friday. She also led our MEP design team who were involved in the project, from the initial feasibility study through design and construction. The project, which began six years ago, has been driven by the dedication of two Queer women of color. Their mission has been to celebrate and preserve the legacy of Stonewall. #WBEngineers #Stonewall #Engineering #MEPDesign

Happy International Women in Engineering Day! This year, as we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we’re reflecting on the contributions of our female engineers, whose talents and dedication have been pivotal to our success. What fuels their passion and creativity? Where do they find their inspiration? On this Women in Engineering Day, we’re focusing on empowering one another. We asked our female engineers to share the books, podcasts, and organizations that drive their continuous learning and growth. We want to thank these women on our team - their commitment to learning and ‘Improving the Way Things are Done’ inspires us every day. #WBEngineers #ImprovingTheWayThingsAreDone #WomenInEngineeringDay

Have you ever wondered about a short circuit study? If so, you’re not alone. This type of study is essential to understanding whether an electrical system is safe and reliable. It provides critical information about the system that ensures users are aware of any dangers present. In our latest blog, ‘A Short Circuit Study: What Is It & Why Do You Need One?’ Tom Thrasher, PE (Associate Director of Engineering) explains what these studies are and when they are needed. https://lnkd.in/eVVF95vY #WBEngineers #ElectricalEngineering #ShortCircuit #BlogPost

Did you know? Liquid cooling can be up to 1,000 times more efficient at removing heat than air cooling. This makes it a game-changer for managing high-density data centers and keeping tech cool. Liquid cooling has been talked about as the next big thing for years - and now - Jimmy Sneed (Managing Director, Critical Facilities) sees it happening. What's changed? And what is the biggest challenge that we're facing with this trend? In our recent video, we explore the answers to these questions. https://lnkd.in/e6MEXx-P #WBEngineers #LiquidCooling #CriticalFacilities

Raymond Doyle, PE, LEED AP (Managing Director, Science & Technology) and Maria Koulopoulos (Associate Director of Business Development) attended the 5th Annual East Carolina University (ECU) Spring Pharma Conference last week. The conference focused on Science & Technology sessions, offering 24 presentations delivered in smaller breakout sessions, including those by Novo Nordisk, the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech), and the FDA. Ray and Maria were able to reconnect with fellow pharma professionals from companies such as Biogen and Catalent Pharma Solutions. Thank you to ECU for hosting this event and providing us with a broader understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the “why” behind common pharma approaches! #WBEngineers #ScienceandTechnology #PharmaIndustry #ECUSpringConference
