Mr. Denton is a creative and innovative learning advocate with 10 years of experience in education, specializing in technology integration, professional development, and instructional design. Mr. Denton’s career began in the classroom as a 4th Grade Teacher at Oklahoma City Public Schools, where he earned the Rockwood Elementary School Teacher of the Year award in 2017. He has most recently served as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Metro Tech (CTE Center), where he leads a team of Instructional Designers and Educational Technology Coaches, overseeing district-wide curriculum and assessment alignment. In addition to Mr. Denton's service as an Instructional Technology Trainer for OKCPS, he has earned certifications in Google, Apple, Microsoft, and other educational platforms. Mr. Denton holds a Master’s in Educational Technology from East Central University and is currently pursuing an M.Ed in Principal Certification from Southeastern State University.
