This summer, FOX Sports and Fanatics Sports Cards & Collectibles will pay tribute to the Negro Leagues and celebrate the excellence of Black baseball at Birmingham's Rickwood Field, the oldest professional ballpark in the US. To create engagement and excitement for the Rickwood Field game, The Topps Company created the “MLB at Rickwood Negro League Collection”, a 6-card collection featuring Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson, Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays, Larry Doby, and Monte Irvin. To promote the card collaboration and the Rickwood Field game on June 20th, some of these Negro League legends were reimagined as larger-than-life, 24-foot-tall, traveling trading cards on a six-stop tour managed by our North American Experiential Operations team. The cards will tour the United States in May and June where they will appear at MLB games and additional tourist destinations. The first two of these "larger than life" displays, both depicting pitcher Satchel Paige, debuted earlier this week in Kansas City, Missouri, home of the @nlbmuseumkc, and St. Louis, Missouri, home of the @cardinals. The card art, sketched by artist and former MLB player Micah Johnson, was scaled up to a truss-constructed "baseball card" that stands 24' tall by 16' wide. The "limited time engagement" will be continuing on to Philadelphia, FOX Plaza in New York City, and Boston, with a final stop at the Rickwood Field game in Birmingham. #experientialoperations #baseballcard #topps #mlbonfox #rickwoodfield #tour #teamwass

Our amazing Australian team recently reached a significant milestone with HYROX by successfully organising two major events over the same weekend in Melbourne and Singapore. The Singapore event marked the largest one-day event in HYROX history, while the Melbourne event was the largest in Australia. The teams worked tirelessly to ensure the success of both events. #TeamWass In The Windy City! For the second consecutive summer, NASCAR headed to the streets of Chicago for the Grant Park 165, and even in a non-traditional racing venue, Wasserman Live’s presence was felt all over the Windy City. In addition to management of the pre-race opening ceremonies minute-by-minute scheduling and production by our Live Events team on a custom-built stage, Wasserman Live’s Experiential Operations team managed activations for NASCAR (The NASCAR Experience) and Ford Performance on the “midway” for the week’s race – which happened to be located in Chicago’s iconic Grant Park. #NASCAR #Chicago #grantpark

Our fantastic Formula E team recently returned from the doubleheader races 13 & 14 of the ABB Formula E World Championship at Portland International Raceway. This was the only U.S. stop in Season 10, and it marked the return of Formula E to the Portland International Raceway. The weekend featured numerous overtakes and wheel-to-wheel action on the high-speed circuit, along with live entertainment in the fan village. It was a fantastic way to bring motorsport back to Portland, and we are excited for the season finale in London, next weekend! The team successfully completed an 8-day installation, delivering venue, wayfinding, and track branding. Today at Nashville Superspeedway, our pre-race team coordinated a National Anthem flyover featuring a C-130 from the 189th Airlift Wing out of Little Rock Air Force Base followed immediately by a giant American flag pass on the track! This past week marked the 14th tour stop in 11 cities for our North American Experiential Operations team managing this summer's Barstool Sports Classic golf series, teeing off at Wisconsin's The Club at Lac La Belle. With one month until Paris, our North American Events team teamed up with our New York-based brands team to give new meaning to the phrase “Pool Party” at the Toyota Aquazone fan experience at the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium, held in conjunction with the USA Swimming Olympic Trials in Indianapolis. The fan fest featured dozens of brand activations, a main stage with autograph sessions and appearances, a beer garden and lounge along with the official USA Swimming retail superstore. The footprint also included a revamped team wall where swimmers names were be revealed as they made the Olympic team. Our teams were responsible for everything from venue management and operations (including load in/out, dock scheduling, labor, internet, drayage, security, cleaning, and concessions) partner/exhibitor operations, spatial and creative design, ideating and executing USA Swimming and OneAmerica Financial's activation within the footprint, production oversight with local production partner Dodd Technologies, data collection, F&B, decor, and stage run of show. Our teams had a role in the entire production. We also managed all aspects of the USA Swimming House presented by OneAmerica, the official pre-event hospitality space at Lucas Oil Stadium - overlooking the warm-up pool. For the third consecutive year, our North American Experiential Operations team is back on the road with the Underrated Golf tour, with the goal of growing Equity, Access, and Opportunity in the game of golf for junior golfers from all backgrounds. Wasserman Live is responsible for all tour elements including player and family travel and transportation, course branding and creative, and all tournament operations. The first stop of this year’s U.S. tour descended upon the recently opened Old Barnwell in Aiken, SC. Subsequent stops for our team this summer include Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Oregon, Warren Golf Course on the campus of the University of Notre Dame, and TPC San Antonio in Texas, before wrapping up at the 2024 Curry Cup finals at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ!
