Passionate About Helping Individuals & Groups TRANSFORM Their Health And Life Using Yoga Philosophy & Practices & Coaching
You could try different yoga teachers and see what you find, but here is a guide to help you focus your search so that your yoga journey is bountiful. ✨🌿 1. Consider the style and lineage: Yoga is an ancient philosophy passed down from teacher to student for thousands of years. The practices range from subtle forms such as meditation and pranayama to the more modern physical type of yoga asana. Look for a teacher who has an understanding of the history and depths of yoga practices. 2. “Certified” Yoga Alliance (YA) is currently the largest professional organisation for the yoga industry, (there are many others like The British Wheel of Yoga). Levels are sometimes labelled RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher), followed by numbers, which equate to the hours of learning. The first level being RYT 200 is the usual starting point for new teachers, and can include anatomy, philosophy sequencing, breath worth, meditation, and more, in the curriculum. 3. Find the right fit for you. Explore your needs. Are you hoping to grow you spirituality? If so, then be discerning when choosing a teacher who has a spiritual practice. Then find a teacher whose words speak to your heart ❤️. If you’re recovering from an injury, check that the lead teacher has the experience and expertise in anatomy and therapy that match your needs. Do some online research. Read reviews, and ask yourself how safe and supported you feel when you’re in yoga class.. 4. Try to meet with the lead teacher if possible. In person is of course best but online will work too. This way you get to know the person behind the 'brand' etc. 5. Do your homework, ask questions and then follow your heart As an experienced Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher, I have a deep passion for guiding and teaching others to develop their skills, as teachers themselves or students to widen and explore their yoga experience. 🙏❤️ #yogateacher #yogatrainer #yogacoach #yogateachertraining #yogapractice #yogaireland #yogateachertraining #noeleentyrrellyoga #ardnahooyogaschool

1:1 & SMALL GROUP ALL ABILITIES YOGA & BREATH WORK Have you ever felt interested in yoga? Have you felt that even though you want to try yoga, you don’t know if you could do it? Yoga is a PRACTICE that can be applied to any human being. The very nature of yoga includes synchronising breath, movement, and the mind. There is no right or wrong way to do yoga. There may be specific cues or suggestions for poses, but they aren’t set in stone. Being a qualified yoga teacher, personal trainer, and mental health consultant allows me to utilise the practice of yoga in SO many unique ways. The whole point of yoga is to experience yourself. The outcome isn’t nearly as important as the PROCESS. Within the process is where we learn, grow, and develop the most. Most conventional Yoga Studios aren’t completely accessible for all abilities for a number of reasons. Which is why I’m now offering one on one or small group all abilities yoga classes. I’ll create a space that supports the practice of yoga, but what we do within that space will be dynamic, unique, and fun. If you’d like to do one on one yoga classes or create a small group, please let me know. Contact me here: epawlakwellness@gmail.com or via my website (as per my LinkedIn profile page). Namaste (we are all one, we are all the same). #ndissupport #yogateacher #wellbeing #ndisservices

✨ This spring marks my 5th anniversary as a yoga teacher.🧘🏼♀️ In these 5 years, here's what I've learned: • When I began practicing yoga, I came from a background in sports. However, the essence of yoga transcends physical asana practice on the mat; yoga is not sports. • Being able to perform difficult asanas such as Vrschikasana (scorpion pose) doesn't necessarily make you a good yoga teacher. • I've always admired other teachers who skillfully sequence their classes. However, I've never followed that approach. Once I'm on the mat teaching, everything flows naturally. I enter a different zone, moving into to a trance state. Today, I know this is called flow state. • Yoga isn't about perfection, although Niyama (self-discipline) and Dharana (concentration) are integral parts of the yoga path and are significant. • If you believe you know everything, you know nothing. • Having an open heart and open ears for your students is the most important skill for a yoga teacher. • There are countless yoga teachers out there, and that's a positive thing! If more people became yoga teachers and delved deeper into yoga philosophy, the world would be a better place. What's your experience with yoga?
