🚀 From Lone Wolf to Relying on a team: My Sales Journey 🌟 Success in sales is not just about individual hustle, but also about collaboration and synergy. This is what I've learned throughout my journey in sales. From being a lone wolf to embracing the power of teamwork, I have come a long way. I've discovered that when I collaborate with others, our collective efforts produce greater results than anything I could achieve alone. Each team member brings their unique strengths and perspectives to the table, enriching our strategies and approaches. Today, I am grateful for the journey that has led me to where I am now and the team I have backing me in this adventure. While individual drive is important, it's the power of teamwork that propels us towards greater heights. Cheers to embracing the journey and the people who make it worthwhile! 🚀💼 #SalesJourney #Teamwork #Collaboration #ProfessionalGrowth #Smartian

What is your why? I had to take a Uber ride yesterday. During the ride, Ali, the driver, told me he was new to driving and was an introvert so it's been difficult for him. As it turned out, Ali was a great communicator. Ali asked me what I did. I told him that I am unemployed but am looking for Account Manager type roles. He asked why that role. I explained that I enjoyed building relationships. After our ride, I thanked him and told him he's a great communicator. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there. This got me thinking of whys? Why an Account Manager role? So I drilled down my whys. What I do - Manage Accounts Why - I enjoy building and maintaining relationships Why - To learn about their needs and pair with solutions Why - I care about supporting those I work with I know my why and am open to new opportunities where I can learn, develop new skills and continue to grow. If you would share with your network, I would appreciate it.

When all else fails AKWARDNESS and DISCOMFORT for the win! What if I told you I could: Help you master your toughest objections… Boost your confidence to speak with conviction Increase your closing rate by 20% in a month. You just had to spend 15 minutes a day training. 🤨 Would you do it? We ask that to sales people across the country. They all of course say yes. Until we tell them what it is. ROLEPLAY | ROLEPLAY | ROLEPLAY UNDISPUTED Benefits of Roleplaying in Sales ❕ ✅ Develop empathy pretending to be clients ☑️ Gives a safe space to experiment ✅ Real-time peer to peer coaching ☑️ Get your reps before talking with prospects ✅ Builds culture and increases team unity Consistency is everything. Sales is a sport. Treat it like one. DON’T FALL INTO THIS TRAP! Think youve mastered something and stop… Michael Jordan still practiced free throws daily. Tiger Woods still practices 3 foot putts daily. Serena Williams still puts in forehand reps daily. P.S - Does your company provide the consistent opportunity to role-play with your team? #sales #salestraining #salescoaching #practicemakesperfect #consistency #roleplay #GOAT #akward #discomfort #msga #makesalesgreatagain #thebiskie Todd Speciale

I help manufacturers boost market presence and consumer perception with 👉🏼 innovative, top-tier packaging designs and ensure reliable, efficient delivery.
Resilience in sales is not a given. But it is crucial for success. When navigating the sales landscape: → Remember your early struggles shape you (like my time juggling jobs as a teen). → Reflect on key turning points (like moving from Comcast to direct sales). → Focus on growth and adaptation (like transforming my car repair hobby into a business). The important thing to remember: Your past experiences shape your sales approach. Why? Because every challenge teaches valuable lessons. In my career, from teenage entrepreneur to Mill Rock Packaging: → Learning from failures (like the 2008 business crisis) built my resilience. → Mentoring in Comcast sharpened my skills. → Restarting my furniture business post-divorce taught me about starting over. → Shifting to packaging showed me the importance of continuous adaptation. Developing this mindset took years of ups and downs. It’s worth embracing in your career journey. PS: Taken at Balboa Park in San Diego 2023!

The team loved having you on Whitney Johnson Cowell! I started the idea of bringing an "Internal Guest Speaker" on at the beginning of the year to kick off our Monday meetings with the objectives: To spice up our Monday meetings: Increase Product knowledge and learn how each department operates Increase confidence in working internally across departments/offices Most importantly, the ability to internally network. I always think about increasing production by increasing efficiency. One of the best ways to increase efficiency is getting your team internally networked and engaged with the rest of the company. The guests we have had on include; Sales reps that have found success, the President of KCH, the head of our Air import/export team, and a colleague in our solutions departments. One of the things that I love most about KCH Transportation has been brought to light within this idea -> The willingness and the support of colleagues from different departments/offices wanting to collaborate. #creative #efficiency #leadership #management
Kicking off the week with our Tampa team 👏🏼🌴 Managers like Tucker Landreth are my favorite - each Monday he’s brining in people from other branches and other departments to share their stories, give department updates and just talk with the sales team. Today I was lucky enough to join them! « Open communication » « Reaffirmed camaraderie » « Better results » To all the reps out in the sunshine state, THANK YOU for bringing some sparkle to my morning. Let’s win the week, yeah?

The thought of getting into sales NEVER entered my mind growing up... 😂 When I was young I wanted to follow Cassie Campbell into forensics and being a "CSI" person as she was my idol and did a report on her when I was 12. Then my Mom thought "why don't you interview athletes and talk hockey with them? You're so good at talking about sports." Fast forward 15 plus years and here we are.. a Sales Consultant for a dealership in my hometown? The journey I've been on navigating collegiate hockey, a broadcasting career, living away from my hometown for 10+ years has lead me to an opportunity I never thought I wanted. However, after a week of training, getting to know the team, realizing half the people either know me or a family member, understanding it's all about PEOPLE and what they need, being comfortable, getting respect from coworkers of my capabilities, and the shear growth my company and myself can see evolve over the next month, year, 5 years is a feeling I have never had before. You may have to work 20 different jobs and go through burnout, overstimulation, and drained mental capacity, but it CAN be worth it in the end. What a feeling.. almost like I'm stepping out on the ice again #careergrowth #sales #journey #future #happy

Husband, Father, Son, Friend, Coach and Fractional Chief Revenue Officer | Breaking Sales Barriers and Scaling Businesses from 1M to 100M
Congrats and good luck to everyone changing jobs! Just remember it is a journey, not a destination. Focus on milestones and making progress. If you lost a job and found a new one, you will get back to where you were, it might not happen overnight, but it will happen. Managers, new hires are part of your family. Embrace them, provide them with insights and help them feel success. You are in it together, just because someone has experience in a certain subject or industry, doesn't mean they should be set free. Communicate often, monitor progress, support them fully and set clear and proper expectations. Good luck on your next chapter! https://lnkd.in/eUzjAEyS

ARE YOU FACING DOUBTS OR CHALLENGES ABOUT YOUR NEXT STEPS IN LIFE OR YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER? Oprah Winfrey: "You get in life what you have the courage to ask for." In sales, every call, every meeting, and every interaction is an opportunity to achieve something great. But it all starts with the courage to step up and ask for what we want and need to succeed. This week let's challenge ourselves to push beyond our comfort zones. Whether it’s picking up the phone, proposing a bold idea, or closing a deal, remember — that the greatest rewards come to those who speak up and reach out. 🚀 Let's make it a goal to ask boldly and fearlessly. What will you ask for this week to move closer to your goals? #SalesMotivation #NoPainNoGain #SuccessMindset #CourageToAsk #MotivationMonday

I’m convinced the 3 most important Character traits for anyone to get ahead in their profession are… Humility, Hard Work, and Consistency. Sure there are a lot of other great ones we could list but if you embody those 3… you’re different. They are the traits that set our best sales performers apart at my previous company. At Axiom, interacting with several different teams every week, I’ve witnessed how they’re what set top performers apart in any industry, company, role, etc. Without these traits, you won’t get very far. They are essential/foundational to excelling at anything worth value. Just as a tree needs good soil, sunlight and water to grow - these are the 3 traits that help you grow the most in your work. Ask yourself every day - how can I grow in one of these areas?

I am now on month 3 of running my own consulting business and I have learned a few things.... 1. When you leave Corporate America and do you own thing only the important things get attention, not all of the other Noise that comes from working for a large company i.e. Politics, etc..... 2. You get to choose who and what you work on and better yet when you do it. 3. You have to kill what you eat so you become a jack of all trade... Salesman, Consultant, Friend, Business Development. 4. It is FUN not being in W2 World anymore 5. It is Odd not having a team after 35 years of being in Management Positions 6. It is SOOOO Flexible 7. It can be scary...... 8. It is Fun helping solve problems for your customers and friends.
