🌟 As a recruiter, I often get asked about the most important factors to consider when looking for a new job. 🌟In my experience, the top priorities should be company culture, career growth opportunities, work-life balance, and compensation package, let me explain: - Company culture plays a crucial role in job satisfaction and overall happiness at work. It's important to find a company whose values align with your own and where you feel supported and valued.❤️ - Additionally, career growth opportunities are essential for long-term satisfaction and success. Look for a company that invests in its employees' development and offers opportunities for advancement. - Work-life balance is also crucial for maintaining overall well-being.💆 - Lastly, a competitive compensation package is important for feeling financially secure and valued in your role - money makes the world go round!🌍 When considering a new job, it's essential to carefully evaluate these factors to ensure a good fit for your career and personal goals. #newjob #careerdevelopment #careerprogression #companyculture #jobs #jobsearch

How do you tell hiring managers you're good at your job? ...By including an achievements section in your CV. People always list job responsibilities, but pass on an achievements section: 1) Causing doubt about what sets you apart from other candidates 2) Leaving hiring managers wondering if you're a profitable choice 3) Leaving room for other candidates to make a better impression Every job has fixed responsibilities, and everyone lists the same duties. Achievement sections show the difference you've made in your role. Here are some examples of how you showcase achievements: 1) “Implemented a robust quality improvement program, reducing defects by XX% and enhancing overall product/service quality.” 2) “Achieved an XX% reduction in production costs while maintaining or improving product quality, contributing to annual cost savings of £XX.XX” 3) “Successfully guided the organization through a rigorous ISO 9001 certification process, ensuring compliance with international quality standards.” Focus on outcomes when drafting your CV. Think pounds, percentages, and headcount. Let hiring managers compare your results with other candidates' results. This is how you stand out. #Recruitment #FMCG #FoodManufacturing

Two fundamental issues with the recruitment industry IMO that will ensure it's poor reputation continues for the foreseeable future: 1. Clients and recruiters agreeing to work competitive jobs/projects (i.e. multiple agencies engaged on the same assignment). Result: A poor quality race, and terrible experience for all parties involved. Dog eat dog. Name me another service industry that operates this way? 2. Monthly Billing targets, and weekly/daily KPI targets. All the above are counter-productive and drive the undesirable behaviour that gives our industry a bad name. Some have evolved to better, more customer driven ways. Most haven't. Our industry should be better than this. Agree? #recruitmentindustry #recruitment #recruiting #customerisking

Specialising in recruitment for awarding organisations, I regularly speak with and recruit for internal and external Quality Assurers. When it comes to quality assuring qualifications and assessments, it is essential to consider the needs of the learner and the requirements of the awarding body. It is important to ensure that the assessment is valid, reliable and fair, and that the assessment criteria are applied consistently and objectively. The quality assurance process should involve a detailed review of the assessment materials, including the assessment criteria and evidence that the learner has met the required standards. It is also important to ensure that the assessment is correctly marked and that any necessary adjustments are made. It is also essential to review the quality assurance process to ensure that it is effective and that it is consistently applied. This should involve regular reviews to ensure that the assessment process is operating effectively and that any necessary changes are made. Finally, it is important to ensure that the assessment process is accessible, transparent and meets the requirements of the awarding body. #QualityAssuring #Assessments #Qualifications #internalqualityassurance #externalqualityassurance #recruitment #recruitmentconsultant #education #educationjobs #awardingbody #awardingorganisation
