Catalyst for change providing leadership through strategy, organizational design, and people development.
I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to be a part of Bay Path University and Cambridge College. Today is a transformational day for all of us here. I am incredibly proud of our fidelity to our missions, our commitment to the communities we serve, our teammates, and our impact on higher education. #StrongerTogether I am also grateful for you, Sandra J. Doran, Michael Giampietro, Kathleen Bourque, Natalia Blank, PhD, Stephen Healey, Niti Seth, Dennis J. Madigan, CMA, our Board of Trustees, and the rest of the teams that trusted me to lead Phase 1 of the acquisition. We did it! Special kudos to the Phase 1 project team; I am a better professional for working with you: Jeremy Anderson, Jessica Sabbagh (rock star), Brittany Riley, MBA, and Susan Poglinco, PhD (and the Core team). I am even more grateful for the continued confidence in me and our super-talented project team as we lead the next phase of this process: Tracy McLaughlin, Shirley Montovani, Madison McGrath, Jonathan Besse, and Susan Poglinco, PhD. Thank you for being tremendous partners, thought leaders, and accountability partners. I am super excited about the work ahead. Collectively, we will think holistically about what it means to serve students, how to continue to make a profound and lasting impact in our communities, and how to transform ourselves and our organization. #BayPathUniversityProud. #CambridgeCollegeProud. #Transformation.
Today, July 1, 2024, is a milestone! As we announce the official closing date of Bay Path University’s acquisition of Cambridge College, we mark this date as joining two like-minded institutions. Building on our common mission of providing innovative and accessible education to students from diverse backgrounds, working adults, and first-generation learners, this powerful alliance will enhance our academic community and broaden our students' educational horizons and career opportunities. To commemorate this momentous event, we have prepared a special video that captures the essence of this new chapter in our journey forward.

Last night, Boston College officially announced its largest capital campaign in history. Soaring Higher, a $3 billion initiative to raise funding for academics, financial aid, and student life, seeks to increase financial aid opportunities, enhance teaching and scholarship across all of BC’s schools and colleges, and grow student internships, graduate fellowships, and support for international study. The campaign also focuses on support for Messina College, a residential, two-year program for underserved students that will open at Boston College in 2024. Soaring Higher is just the beginning - the future is bright! 🦅 "Central to the campaign is an initiative to raise $1 billion to boost financial aid for low- and middle-income families, helping BC to maintain its commitment to need-blind admissions and meeting the full demonstrated need of undergraduate students. This academic year, Boston College will award $166 million in undergraduate need-based financial aid, an allocation that will be significantly increased through the campaign." https://campaign.bc.edu/

Sidra Khalid 18G, 40 Under Forty honoree, reflects on her experience as a young college student at Emory, ready to learn what it takes to be successful. “At 20, I was eager to have everything planned out and to know exactly what I needed to do to be successful. Ultimately, I've learned that life rarely follows a linear path, and it's okay not to have everything figured out when you’re younger.” Learn more about our honorees here: https://bit.ly/4c8KPOd

the Record 10 TIME @SantaRosaJC AA Degree & @SonomaStateUniversity alumni, Retired @USArmy 1SG, current @UNCCharlotte #GradSchool student & #ActuallyAutistic.
#26Days. Over FIVE consecutive years, Santa Rosa Junior College conferred upon me #TenDegrees. Although in 2020 and 2021, #COVID19 caused the commencement ceremonies to be online, being a part of FIVE consecutive commencement ceremonies meant a lot to me. In those five years, Ten Degrees in varying subjects were conferred, and all but one class (being Public Speaking) was completely done online. Five degrees prior to #COVID19, Five since. In a little under 4 weeks now, my SIXTH consecutive commencement ceremony will occur. My sole degree, my Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Sonoma State University (thru their Sonoma State University School of Extended and International Education at Sonoma State's Saturday Degree Completion Program), is my #EleventhDegree overall. Eleven degrees in six straight years means a lot to me. Twelve Degrees in seven-eight years means something to me (and will at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte), while Thirteen Degrees in eleven years will mean the most. #ComeWhatMay, it will happen again, and again, and again.

Hampton University and where are you? Do better…Hampton is all talk and no action. Even your students. (Not me, I’m not one of them. Respectfully). And your entrepreneurship program is an absolute disgrace! I learned how to do business from my father, and by reading my Bible( let’s give a handclap to my father for helping Hampton establish their Workforce development program) Half the students were in their own little delusional world goofing off. I don’t feel bad for your unintelligent decision making. Not to mention the professors, who ultimately lack in common sense. Why do you have a legit scammer running the ETR program, and every single professor up in that broken down MLK building knows it too. Stop falling for this school’s nonsensical acts when they constantly receive " money" it’s almost like the more "money" you receive things get WORSE. How is that? Oh I know, because you all don’t actually allocate these funds into things that will benefit the students, but you steal it. I know the truth, the full truth, and nothing but the truth. And its only a matter of time before others catch on. 🐇⏳🌀
