For me, Bark Street café isn’t just a place to get coffee and snacks. It’s a place for pet owners to come together, build a community, and share our love of animals. That’s why I started this café. When I opened Bark Street, my vision was to create a space that fosters relationships between pet owners. Here’s how I plan to make that happen: 1. Host regular meetups and events where pet owners can socialise, share tips, and get to know one another 2. Offer pet-friendly activities and services like pet grooming, pet photography, and pet adoption 3. Provide discounts for pet owners to make Bark Street café more accessible 4. Create a welcoming environment that’s focused on pet-friendly conversations 5. Support local animal rescue groups and shelters Have you visited bark street yet?

International Guide Dog Day provides an opportunity to acknowledge the incredible impact Guide Dogs have on the lives of those living with low or no vision, disability, or illnesses. This special day raises awareness about Guide Dog accessibility and celebrates the unique and powerful bond between a Guide Dog and their human companions. So what can you do to celebrate International Guide Dog Day today? 1. Learn about Guide Dogs - You most likely know that golden retrievers are great Guide Dogs but did you know that poodles and boxers can be Guide Dogs too? Did you know that Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs, and even puppies in training are legally permitted to accompany their handlers virtually anywhere, including supermarkets, restaurants, shopping centres, public transport, hotels and rideshares, with only a few exceptions such as certain zoo enclosures and operating theatres? 2. Adopt a reclassified or retired guide dog - If you have the means, adopting a reclassified or retired Guide Dog can be a great way to support Guide Dog trainers. 3. Make a donation or volunteer your time - Donate to a Guide Dog organisation like Guide Dogs to West Australians (https://ow.ly/qGBi50RlSi2), or volunteer your time to help out Guide Dog organisations.

Pet parents are all heart! According to Best Friends Animal Society, 9 out of 10 pet parents consider pets a family member. And it’s no different when they’ve welcomed a rescue pet into their pack, whether permanently or as fosters. Research by Forbes shows that some of the top ways pet parents show their love toward their fur babies include: Taking family photos with their pet (58.7%), Including their pet in a holiday card (36.2%), Regularly preparing homemade food or treats (45%), Ordering their pet a special treat at a restaurant (43.2%), Taking their dog to dog-friendly activities (43.2%), Buying their pet a holiday gift (67.2%). If this sounds like you, you are a special breed, and our kind of pet parent! 🐾🎉 To celebrate National Pet Parents Day on April 28 — and help more pets find and stay in their forever homes — Pet Prana® is partnering with select pet rescue organizations to champion foster and adoption, and empower pet parents with free dog training resources. 📣It’s great to unleash the news of our new client! 📣 We’ve been appointed by Biscuit Pet Care, a dog walking rewards app, which rewards dog owners for staying active with their furry friends. The free-to-use app rewards owners with Biscuits (points) for daily walks, routine pet care, and more. Biscuits can then be redeemed for vouchers at popular shops like Amazon, M&S, and Tesco, enjoyed for dining out, or even donated to environmental charities. 🐾 Our first project? Unveiling Biscuit’s survey on the nation’s favourite dog names and breeds, plus the walking habits of over 330,000 dogs. Check out the interactive map of Britain’s favourite breeds and names below, thanks to Jonathan Chadwick and the Daily Mail. This venture perfectly aligns with our core mission of promoting tech for good! 🎯 Big thanks to PRWeek for covering our new appointment on Friday. Automotive social media content idea: Pet adoptions at the store, I know quite a few dealers who conduct pet adoptions at their store. As someone who is in animal rescue in her "spare time" at Hanaeleh Horse Rescue here in the OC, I can tell you that having these pet adoptions at your store is a fantastic way to bring the community together. They invite people to the store who may never have been there before. They also illustrate your compassion and kindness to animals and that's a winner when it comes to automotive social media content ideas. -Show your impact on the community -Display how adopting is always the right choice #adoptdontshop -Gives your network more insight into how the company's principles align with their own -Homeless pets get adopted!

Did you know September is National Guide Dog Month? This month-long celebration honors guide dogs for their tremendous hard work as they provide individuals who are blind or have low vision with opportunities for more independence within society. Check out these tips about service dogs from Guide Dogs of America: DO: Do keep in mind the handler is supported by the service dog for daily life. Do offer help when appropriate, but do not insist. Do use an encounter with a service dog team as an opportunity to educate children. DON’T: Do not pet the service dog without permission. Do not talk to the dog. Do not feed the dog. Do not make sounds to get the dog’s attention. Do not stare at the dog. Do not be offended if a handler says no to petting the dog or cannot chat with you about the dog.
