Have you watched our new documentary yet? 🎬 FOOTSTEPS: A Journey to the Engare Sero Footprints This beautiful film, directed by renowned wildlife filmmaker Leander Ward, follows an expedition through Tanzania’s Great Rift Valley, the cradle of humankind. Vivobarefoot’s founders Galahad Clark and Asher Clark join paleo-environmental scientist Dr Cynthia Liutkus-Pierce on a trek to visit the largest ancient Homo sapiens footprint site ever discovered in Africa. Their journey takes them across a landscape of magnificent beauty. Sadly, these ancient footprints are disappearing. Scientists have measured a rate of erosion of 1 mm for every 10 years, which means that they could be lost forever within the next fifty years. Vivobarefoot has committed to supporting Dr Liutkus-Pierce and her team, who are working to preserve the site in partnership with the local community. "We're proud to be part of a new collaboration of international and local stakeholders who are working to preserve the footprints before they are gone forever." - says Galahad Clark.
