It is interesting to see that the UK shows a significant net outflow whilst other western countries show a net inflow
33600 millionaire leaving, 17700 coming in = 2 times less coming millionaires in the mentioned countries… in which countries have the other half gone? this analysis is not relevant enough because, with only 50% of the total millionaires coming to the main western countries, then either there are massive move to other countries which can be a positive economic development signal or a big part is in “paradises” which would mean a totally different story…
Does a nation want more immigrant millionaires? I notice that the receiver nations of note, Singapore, the UAE, and less so, Canada and Australia, have overpriced housing markets. Of course, this information does not include millionaires who use illegal means like mirror transfers and underground banking to move their money. This is really interesting food for thought!
Well, with the current federal government in Brazil, no wonder why millionaires are leaving the nation, which is a shame, but completely understandable. Most of them are settling down in Portugal and in Miami in the USA.
Does not appear to be a zero sum game.....as most things involving money....😃
Very important chart, showcasing the boom experienced by UAE. There has been a massive influx of money in the court in the last 2-3 years.
Como trabalhador, estou mais interessado em investimento externo direto e outros indicadores.
This is pretty sobering for the UK. Thanks to Brexit it is falling down the league tables rapidly whilst Taxes have gone up and we haven’t even had the Labour Party in power yet! Roll on Wealth Taxes, CGT rises etc etc. Not much fun being in the UK at the moment.

2dIt only shows the "number" of millionaires left to other countries, it could be even more astonishing if the "amount" of money is reflected. I am in China, actually the asset value here is quite significantly impacted by the "cash flow" demonstrated in the picture, I guess this is one of the reasons why Chinese stocks are cheap and valuations are low now. If the price can come back, then it is good time to invest, if not, then it is toxic assets, what are your thoughts?
