What leadership we need today? I believed in ISM in 1999, when our Team established it as First private management University in Lithuania, and I believe in it after 25 years of its existence! This is why I decided to launch a First Rector’s Scholarship for the bright student, who does not have the means to afford the studies at this great University! Thank you to those who supported this idea, who came to spend time together the evening of July 3rd, who have been with me years ago and who are together now! Thank you for your smiles, warm attitudes, generosity and fantastic vibes! You made my Anniversary unforgettable event for me! I was great to share my thoughts on leadership together with my colleagues from Business and Church!

Great Initiative by Gitam University to get the Industry and Academia together to understand the challenges and redefine the curriculum. Great initiative and leadership demonstrated by Dr Acharya K.N.S and his team to include some of us as Industry Advisory Board members. I echo the objectives of this board, which in my opinion is crucial to shape up the curriculum of the universities in line with the emerging technology and market/industry needs and also towards grooming future entrepreneurial talent and startups. a) Provide direction to University on the industry trends and how Universities have to align with changing demands. b) Critically review & critique the course structure that different departments will be proposing. (Including indicative contents, pedagogy methods and assessments) c) Drive the industry collaboration and probable R&D alignments keeping in mind industry specific sectorial requirements. Creating connection with Core Needs Communication (CNC)

I booked a call with the CEO of an organization, after just 1 intro talk about CNC (Core Needs Communication) which a salesperson from this organization attended, where they reached out to me to have a discovery call, which went well. That was it: just 2 meetings to reach the CEO to discuss the value of CNC for their teams. Phew, all because people (and my situation) kept reminding me that money makes a positive difference when used effectively, and people telling me that corporate leadership is a way to support both Ugeddit and companies, and also employees, customers, and more. Thank you, Andreea for helping me schedule that first "Intro to CNC" talk that created this spark! And I appreciate you Jen for reminding me that money doesn't necessarily take away value from relationships, but adds to them when it's used effectively. As I make my way back from Texas, I reflect on the amazing week we all had at the Mayan Ranch for the 911 Leadership Training event and I just want to say that out of the many things that you took from not only this week but from my Imagine Listening session, I hope that right at the top is this; One voice, your voice, can make a difference. Your voice can change the world, and although you might think that your voice cannot change the world I want you to remember this; when someone is calling in living their worst nightmare, one voice, your voice can change their world. You have an important job and you mean so much to so many people. Thank you for everything that you do for our profession.

It should go without saying that strong leadership is a must for any organization. The success of that organization depends on it. Leaders come in all shapes, sizes, genders, races, ages and backgrounds. The best leaders from these diverse groups have one thing in common. They know in their hearts it is a high privilege and deep responsibility to lead those persons in their stewardship and care. Whether it is a team, customers, stakeholders, investors or associates - being a leader means putting their best interests before your own, making sure they have whatever they need to succeed, and making sure the path for that success is cleared of debris, minefields and traps. Leadership takes courage with humility, determination with vision, and commitment to service and hard work. Being a leader is the highest form of servant. To all the great leaders out there, thank you for your service.
