Congrats to Georgia’s newest member of the bench, Tippi Burch, who was appointed by Governor Kemp to the Superior Court of the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit. Another excellent appointment by Governor Brian Kemp to Georgia’s judiciary. Congrats Judge Burch!

Congratulations to my good friend Judge Shondeana Morris on receiving the Atlanta Bar Association 2024 Outstanding Woman in the Profession Achievement Award. The Women in the Profession section of the Atlanta Bar Association hosted a wonderful award luncheon today for Judge Morris, and it was an honor to be one of her guests at the event. Judge Morris has been instrumental in bringing mental health awareness to the legal profession. She is truly committed to excellence in everything she does. 

I couldn’t be more excited for my better half on her new job as the General Counsel - Americas at CHEP. The company got a brilliant attorney and an exceptional woman with Suzanne Russo as the new GC. 

As co-Chair of Governor Kemp's Judicial Nominating Commission, we are in the process of accepting nominations of candidates to be considered for appointment to the Georgia Court of Appeals and the DeKalb County Superior Court. After receiving over 100 nominations for the vacancy on the Supreme Court of Georgia and conducting interviews for two days, the Judicial Nominating Commission's short-list of candidates has been sent to the Governor.
