🎨 Did you know that I'm spearheading an online art auction to raise crucial funds for The Air Ambulance Service? Each time a helicopter takes off for a mission, it costs around £2,300. Shockingly, this vital service receives no government funding and relies solely on donations from generous individuals, groups, organizations, and corporates. 💪 That's why it's absolutely essential to rally behind our air ambulance service by raising funds that directly aid in saving lives. Every contribution makes a tangible difference in ensuring swift, life-saving interventions. 🖼️ The art auction will showcase between 35 to 45 individual pieces of limited edition prints, each signed by the artist. It presents a perfect opportunity to not only invest in art but also to contribute to a noble cause. “As long as life continues, the creative challenge is to tussle, play, and make love with the present moment while giving your unique gift.” -David Deida Today we're sharing a piece that you may have seen in photos from some of our past exhibitions; but, never got the spotlight for itself. Today's featured work is: "Tropical Tussle," a 16x20" Acrylic on Canvas from July 2023 @ https://lnkd.in/eUSHnTc6 Tussle means, "A vigorous struggle or scuffle, typically in order to obtain or achieve something." The colors of this artwork are definitely inspired by the tropics; however, there is conflict throughout the piece, most especially in the upper left corner that spreads out into the rest of the composition from there... Artist's Backstory / Statement: Tussle seems to be a fun word that's underutilized; but, works brilliantly to give today's artwork a nice alliteration! Many of the titles I use are either alliterations [as is our business name], quotes, or lyrics!!! When I really get stumped on creating a title I have a few people I ask their input as I've searched by brain and came back empty.
