Installed: EnVentus V172-7.2MW™, our largest onshore wind turbine! And we're set for the turbine’s first kWh by the end of July. Erected at the Østerild test centre in Denmark, this milestone is thanks to our dedicated team's efforts. The prototype will now undergo extensive testing to ensure reliability before serial production begins. Designed with a modular concept, the V172-7.2MW™ is a key enabler for scalability across the industry. In addition, it enhances performance in low to medium wind conditions, increasing AEP by 12%, compared to the V162-6.2 MW variant. The EnVentus platform, with its four variants and flexible power ratings, has secured 15 GW+ of orders across 25 markets on five continents since its 2019 launch. In 1990, I participated in the assembly of a V25-200kW turbine. And now we're at 7200 kW. Saying "Wow" is not enough.

I think it is finally time to accept that renewable energies have no future without 100% environmentally friendly and cost-effective storage options. We have developed several solutions specifically for wind turbines that are significantly more cost-effective, low-maintenance, and free of toxic substances (neodymium) and especially SF6. They are also equipped with a patented compressed air or gravity storage system. Here is the compressed air variant: https://youtu.be/hy_kFKyROLo?si=WKypafZZHA3Iz9Sk

Beauty with a swept area of 23,230 m², if I’m not mistaken. And with Vestas's OptiStop system, its performance and lifespan are sensational. Regards, Gus!

Great work and amazing pictures 👏
