🚀 Exciting Integration Project 🚀 We recently completed a successful Business Central integration for an architecture company, using Make to streamline their processes with a Data Warehouse. 🔁Context: Our customer needed to sync their primary ERP with a Data Warehouse. The integration became costly, especially with custom functionalities and fields. ✅Solution: We utilized Make for workflow logic and created Business Central modules to access necessary information. The integration included two information flows: Data Warehouse -> Business Central: just dimension combinations. Business Central -> Data Warehouse-the remaining data. 📉Challenges: We faced API limitations and traditional coding proved to be time-consuming and costly. Fortunately, we discovered Simple Object Designer, a tool that allowed us to create custom endpoints quickly, meeting our customer's needs efficiently. 📊Results: By combining these tools, we delivered the integration swiftly and adapted to our customer's feedback, completing the project within the agreed timeframe. The integration has been running smoothly for several months. Take a look at the customer's story and dive into details of our integration scenario featured in our blog post (⬇️ link in comment ⬇️) 💡If you found this story insightful and face similar challenges, let’s schedule a discovery call to discuss your needs #integration #make #automation #successtory #APIChallenges #makeintegration #workflowautomation #lowcode #nocode

Enterprises don't need a team of analysts for a content migration project. I see enterprises hire 12+ analysts to 'understand' their data before they migrate. This team drains the enterprise's budget. This team spends 6+ months analyzing data. This team ties the enterprise up with endless meetings. It's a drain of time and money. The worst part? The enterprise could have gotten the same insights through automation. Now, let me take a step back here. The reason enterprises *think* they need a team of analysts because they have tons of unclassified content. I feel for them. Imagine having 1,000,000 documents unclassified in your legacy ECM system. It's a nightmare. But the last thing you want to do is pay the salaries of 12 analysts to understand the business use behind these documents. This is especially true since that data will help you understand the data in the source system but may be totally unhelpful in guiding it to the target system. For my clients, I prefer a more cost-effective and pragmatic approach. We created the Xillio Classifier. It's one of our most prominent modules. The Xillio classifier allows you to: - Understand your data set - Understand and enhance the metadata of your documents - Recognize document characteristics (ex. topic, keywords, type, etc). The result? You understand your unclassified data. You understand how users engage with the content. You are more informed on what changes you want to make in the migration. You can do this in 1-3 months. You can save money on the analysis. You get insights that help you understand the source AND the target system. I know seeing is believing. If you'd like to see a micro demo on how it works, comment: Classifier. Then, we will DM you a short screen capture video on how it works.

In today's rapidly changing business environment, procurement functions are increasingly seeking technological innovations to enhance efficiency and strategic value. The adoption of low-code platforms offers a substantial opportunity to transform procurement by leveraging two primary value drivers: cost savings/resource optimization and enhanced data management. These strategies are essential for driving long-term value across the procurement value chain. The most impactful lever any procurement professional looks to pull is cost savings. Cost savings and resource optimization is a foundational action for organizations to drive immediate value. In turn, low-code platforms become instrumental in expediting the value realization while minimizing IT impact and costs. Platforms like Mendix and OutSystems enable even non-technical users to develop applications that streamline procurement processes. This not only reduces the cost and duration associated with traditional software development but also enhances operational agility and shortens time to deployment. The next suggestion will be a bit "controversial". I'd recommend that organizations focus on the establishment of a master data management (MDM) framework and governance model supported by technology moving forward. This step, although not yielding immediate financial returns, is crucial for setting up a robust foundation that ensures long-term sustainability and effectiveness. Utilizing low-code platforms such as Microsoft PowerApps and Google App Maker, organizations can develop custom applications that foster better data coherence and regulatory compliance, thus improving overall data quality and decision-making processes. Together, these strategic drivers—focusing on immediate cost efficiencies and robust data management—equip organizations not only to tackle current operational challenges but also to strategically position themselves for future success. Low-code platforms accelerate the realization of these benefits, ensuring that procurement processes are both efficient and strategically aligned with broader organizational goals. By leveraging these technologies, companies can transform their procurement operations, making them more agile, informed, and capable of thriving in a competitive business environment. As we look to the future, one must ask: Are we ready to challenge conventional procurement strategies and embrace innovation for robust, sustainable growth? How prepared are your operations to integrate and capitalize on these technological advancements? Let's discuss the transformative potential of low-code platforms and master data management in reshaping procurement. What are your thoughts and experiences with these technologies?
