Here is a photo from our vacation last summer. We stopped by the football stadium in Atlanta on our way to Destin. I always enjoy family vacations and the nice summer weather. Summertime is quickly approaching and for many that means vacations are getting planned. When it comes to vacations and trips, how does this affect retirement? Today's the last day of the summer and as we progress into Autumn, I reflect on how much we rely on summer to get away to do the things we love. Whether that be travelling, spending time with family, time at the cottage, golfing that one course on your bucket list or even just downtime spent in the garden. Listening to them talk, it’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought and effort into planning for their trips. That got me thinking... "What if people put as much time into planning their retirement as they do for their vacations?"
