🌕 Entrepreneur (TeachingEntrepreneurship.org & ExEC) | Speaker & Advisor about Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Product & Marketing
How can we consistently spark 💥 our students' internal motivation 🤩 throughout the entire semester? Learning about what motivates our students provide us with insight to help us address their needs, … and will naturally increase engagement 🥰 Starting the semester with our Pilot Your Purpose exercise is crucial because, even though not every student dreams of becoming an entrepreneur... Every student wants to find their purpose. After completing the exercise, students develop a purpose statement they can "pilot" throughout your course. As a result, your class becomes a way to pursue THEIR #purpose. TIP: Recalling our students' purpose in each class is a way for us to make entrepreneurship personally relevant and meaningful, tapping into their internal motivation and, in turn, fostering their #engagement. Not surprisingly, nearly all thousands of students from hundreds of universities have responded overwhelmingly positively to this activity. So, if you haven’t given it a try yet, consider incorporating it as you kick off your semester this Spring. You can access our complete exercise for free here: 👉👉👉 https://bit.ly/3SZ625Z Share your thoughts in the comments below and inspire your fellow educators too. #teaching #entrepreneurship #motivation

Just started a new semester with about 150 students. I still vividly remember my first semester with 25 students, sharing my passion for entrepreneurship. The energy in the room was amazing. Fast forward to this new semester, and I'm overjoyed to be guiding about 150 bright minds on the topic about entrepreneurial. Teaching has become my way of nurturing the next generation of innovators. It's incredibly rewarding to see their ideas take shape at the end of each semester. As we dive into this semester, I can't wait to see the creativity, determination, and drive that these students bring to the table. Teaching entrepreneurship is not just a profession; it's a passion. Here's to another exciting semester of growth, learning, and inspiration! 🌟📖 #Entrepreneurship #Teaching #PassionForTeaching #NewSemester #leanstartup #mvp #businessmodelcanvas

Hey #teaching #entrepreneurship fellow, what is the most important skill you teach to reduce the risks of the next generations falling into this trap 🪤 too? I see one topic in this "bike-sharing hype to graveyard" video: hidden #assumptions hinder entrepreneurs. If you are interested, we've built a fun game you can run in your class to engage your students. You can find our free lesson plan here: 👉👉👉 https://bit.ly/486o4rR #Iteration and #experimentation are important skills we want our entrepreneurship students to learn. What are other critical skills for you?

It’s unfortunate that in the rat race to get into the best colleges, and then to get into the best grad programs, we’re teaching people that the most important skill is to figure out what the teacher thinks will be the right answer, rather than to follow our own curiosity. 😑 But in entrepreneurship, there isn’t a “right answer”. 😮 You need to be willing to start down a path without knowing where it’s going. Some of the best entrepreneurs I read about aren’t the A grade students. They’re the B and the C students. 🧐 They are the ones who managed to get through their education without having all the risk taking squeezed out of them. 🙂 #entrepreneurship #business #digitalmarketing

Providing K-12 Schools with Impactful Entrepreneurship Programming | Director of Entrepreneurship at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy
We operate on the basis of two questions: What if? and Why not? Using these questions as starting points, students ideate, create, launch, and grow businesses as part of our Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Program here at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. We use a method that has been developed over the last ten years through trial and error and have seen the launch of seven successful businesses. Our newest attempt is our video production business. With this model, we are relying on the expertise of our own alum, Collin Jung who is demonstrating the business skills in real time as he works with the students in the business. I often talk with schools who are considering entrepreneurship or want to dabble in it, but are unsure of how to get started. Often the best place to start is by asking What if? Are you affiliated with a school interested in starting entrepreneurship programming?
