Christopher Dvornick, Director of Operations at Safari Sun, fully embraced do-it-yourself automation to deploy his latest project. Despite minimal #Python experience, he self-programmed his gantry robot using Python in MachineLogic. The intuitive programming environment, along with some guidance from Vention experts, empowered him to be successful. "I wanted to take on the programming [phase of the project] on my own. I decided to go with MachineLogic and Python. Even though it was my first Python project, it turned out to be a success." Looking to embrace #DIY automation like Chris did? I love this case study for a few reasons. 1.) The company is deep in the system and understand what they are doing. they took some risks and are seeing the benefit. They have positioned themselves to be able to scale this system/technology because they know it well. 2.) They are using the technology as a tool to enable their purpose. It is a piece of the solution to this problem not the solution. 3.) They understand and employ one of the key components of any tool: standardization capability and the resulting impact on training. Anytime you can simplify training through intelligent processes is a win.

Hello connections, Here is my solution to the LeetCode challenge Problem No: 141 Linked List Cycle. Problem Link: https://lnkd.in/gt99D3B2 Time complexity: O(N) Space complexity: O(1) Learning: Learned about the Tortoise and Hare algorithm (also known as Floyd's Cycle Finding Algorithm). This algorithm is specifically designed to detect cycles (loops) within linked lists. If you're working with linked lists and need to determine if a node keeps pointing back to a previous one, creating an infinite loop, the Tortoise and Hare algorithm is the perfect one for you. -------- #programming #leetcode #python #problemsolving #datastructures

Hello! I've just released another Python package! 🐍 This time, it's "shape", a tool for performing boolean operations on 2D geometric shapes. The image below demonstrates the union and intersection of two shapes created using this package. Where can you use it? * In the structural analysis of beams, calculating the section's area and moment of inertia is crucial for computing beam stiffness. When these values aren't readily available in tables, manual computation can be tedious. My package simplifies this process! 🔗 GitHub Repository: github.com/compmec/shape 📘 Documentation: https://lnkd.in/ehuQUD74 Feel free to check it out and explore its capabilities! #Python #OpenSource #ShapePackage #GitHub #Mathematics #Programming #SoftwareDevelopment

🚀 #Day65 of #DSADailyChallenge! 🚀 Minimum Window Substring The task was to return the smallest substring of string `s` that contains every character in string `t`. Here's a glimpse of the solution: Example: Input: s = "ADOBECODEBANC", t = "ABC" Output: "BANC" Key Insights: - Utilizing a sliding window approach to find the minimum substring. - Maintaining counts of characters in strings `s` and `t`. - Iterating through the string, adjusting the window, and updating the minimum substring. 🚀 Day 105 of LeetCode Challenge! ✨ Problem Solved: Total Ways 🧠 Intuition and Approach: The solution utilizes a dynamic programming approach to find the total ways based on Fibonacci numbers. The variables a and b represent the Fibonacci sequence, and the loop calculates the total ways modulo 10^9 + 7. The result is the square of the temp value, ensuring it stays within the modulo range. This solution showcases the beauty of leveraging mathematical patterns to optimize algorithmic solutions. Keep coding, keep learning! 💻🚀 #LeetCode #CodingChallenge #Algorithm #Python #DynamicProgramming
