In this new tech landscape, identity has become a crucial component of security. Identity and access management (IAM) solutions are essential for controlling who has access to what resources, regardless of where those resources are located, that is, in the cloud, on-premises, or in hybrid environments.   At its core, IAM is a set of processes and technologies that enables the right individuals or systems to access the right resources at the right time, while preventing unauthorized access. This is achieved by meticulously managing identities, controlling access, enforcing security policies, and auditing user activities.   With IAM, organizations can enforce policies based on user roles, permissions, and other attributes to ensure that only authorized users can access sensitive data and applications.
