New smarter GPT 4 turbo is 3x cheaper for prompt tokens and 2x cheaper for completion tokens compared to GPT 4! Yay! The speed of innovation is impressive, particularly the simplicity of developing a GPT with native support for RAG, agents and conversation thread capabilities. It's one of the finest demonstrations of Developer Experience I've encountered lately. This is simply mind blowing 😍🔥 It's fair to say that the creative industry including designers, video editors and beyond, often find themselves working long hours, facing the challenge of being overworked and underpaid. It was difficult to miss OpenAI's virtual launch of Dalle3 yesterday. The image generator may not be released until October, but it's already opening a window to the future of GenAI. With less complicated tools and more intuitive text, we'll soon be having conversations with different GenAI tools or one centralized tool to rule them all. It will happen in our car, in our home, at work, everywhere. While dalle3 may not produce better pictures in comparison to Midjourney6, the big winner in the end will be the tool that's easiest to work with. This means Midjourney really need to rethink their whole code-like prompt commands which are a real barrier for many. Exciting times ahead for AI & Creativity, and it seems that one thing's for sure: The future code language will be spoken English that a even 5 year old understands! Personally, I'm continually on the hunt for "not-chat" use cases of LLMs/OpenAI. So when Keevin O'Rourke newsletter hit my inbox with a subject line of "Gaming 🤝 AI: A $100M AI Gaming Tool" it was an instant open. The gist of the brainstorm idea is to use GPT4 vision alongside GPT4's text generation to create AI "narration" of League of Legends games based on captured video. That's a neat idea in itself. And maybe more interestingly, it highlights how GPT4's vision capabilities open up the potential use cases for OpenAI because of how much data is visual. Thinking about B2B use cases, it's easy to see how this could be powerful: - Insurance claims agents can automatically asses photos from clients for attributes like photo quality, description of visible damage, or types of damaged entities - A university could implement a system to automatically add LLM provided notes for a recording of a class - A recipe website could automatically create descriptions of user submitted dish photos #ai #openai #gpt4v

Luma AI is generating a lot of buzz as a competitor to OpenAI's Sora Model, so I decided to test it with a complex prompt. 🌸 The prompt was: "A couple walking hand in hand through a forest with cherry blossom trees on both sides, leaves gently falling.
