Or when you get behind the wheel of your very first car. The path towards gaining independence as a nation and as adults was and is scary. It takes courage to step out. ~ I remember the summer of 2007 vividly when my dad said - ‘you can go to college but you’ll have to figure out how to pay for it.’ ~ How the heck does a 18 year old do that? Little did I know doing this thing many called me crazy for saying yes to; selling knives, helped me far more than paying my way through college. ~ It taught me that 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱. ~ I remember hearing stories of my great grandparents coming from Czechoslovakia (at the time) to America with nothing but the promise of independence. And from that desire, building a real estate empire in small town Louisiana. ~ 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁. I’m thankful that I said yes to selling American made knives 17 years ago and taking a step out in courage. ~ The people that make up this organization have helped challenge me to be a better husband, man and father. Doing something meaningful & significant also comes with a bag of the scaries. Maybe it’s setting the biggest sales goal you’ve ever set. Maybe it’s something else. ~ Regardless, here’s ONE thing that will help make you win no matter how scary the goal may be. ~ ”Standing in a room full of people that believe in you might be the most motivating and empowering moment that can help you in life’s toughest choices. ~ Some of my favorite experiences ever in this company have been standing in a room full of my peers, who believe in me as much as I do. ~ And when you falter, every single one of them would be willing to give their tips, time and advice to help you get back on track and guarantee you hit your goals. ~ You can make the harder choices because you know everyone standing behind you is backing you. ~ And when it comes to building your business and deciding to work hard and invest in yourself with a massive support system behind you…it makes the roller coaster ride a lot smoother. ~ Every inch of growth has been handed to me on a silver platter by the people around me who want what I want and teach me how to get there. ~ I knew if I applied those things I’d get everything I ever wanted.” -Faith Perkins-Juarez, Cutco Sales Professional (Salt Lake City, UT)

If you’re watching this video, there’s a good chance that the only thing standing in the way between you and your Vector Marketing interview is one word: sales. Everyone has their own idea of the stereotypical salesperson, but sleazy practices, constant cold calling, and an overly competitive work environment probably come to mind for many of us. This generalized conception of “sales” scares away a lot of people from coming to work with Vector Marketing. In fact, many of our best sales reps were skeptical about the company before going to an interview. Luckily, they decided to take a risk, and they found that the experience was nothing like what they imagined. If you’re interested in trying out sales in a low pressure, fun environment, schedule an interview with us to learn more about the opportunity. Chances are, the idea of sales will sound a whole lot more inviting.
Sales With Vector Marketing Is NOT What You’d Expect…
