Pride month may be coming to a close, but we choose to celebrate our LGBTQ+ Associates year-round. Just this month, we've taken part in Pride celebrations across the country and spoke with our Pride Associate Resource Group leadership team members on what Pride means to them! #lifeatvca

Juneteenth is a time of reflection, learning, and action. Miriam is a Veterinary Assistant based at VCA Stafford Oaks Animal Hospital, and her passion for sharing knowledge led her to educate her hospital team and field leadership on Black history. Miriam: "I enjoy sharing these types of learning opportunities with my team because I see their excitement when learning something new and it feels great to have something I'm passionate about be received and celebrated in this way. My coworkers look forward to the presentations and celebrations I coordinate at our clinic and I look forward to every opportunity I have to share my knowledge with them."
