The Veterans Affair (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization - Integration Office (EHRM-IO) is in search for Microsoft Power BI (Power BI) Custom Visualizations U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs VA Office of Information and Technology TECHNOLOGY ACQUISITION CENTER NJ This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal. Integration Office (EHRM-IO) is in search for Microsoft Power BI (#PowerBI) custom visualizations that enable the generation of reports, charts, and other documents based on Power BI data.  The current thinking of the government with respect to the potential universe of tools and/or functionality that could help the VA achieve its goals includes the following perspectives: Ability to visualize through the use of Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) language in addition to Hypertext Markup Language. Ability to fully customize Tables. Ability to animate Graphics Interchange Formats (GIFs). Ability to change font size, font colors (including within cells) as well as bar and column colors. Ability to create custom visualizations. Ability to insert videos and GIFs into reports. Ability to use dynamic maps to display routes, or multiple statuses. Ability to format Power BI using all of the following: HyperText Markup Language (HTML), CSS, Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), and GIFs. Ability to render HTML in Power BI reports. Ability to format Power BI Reports and customize reports in numerous ways – in line formatting, font, color, and change speed and direction of other visuals such as ticker tape direction, size, and speed. Ability to embed various types of videos and/or SharePoint sites to customize the user experience. Ability to customize key performance indicators (KPI) cars and customize tables. The Test Process and Quality Management Branch (TPQM) within Test Management and Operations (TMO), Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V), will use this capability to customize data to create custom charts, slides and other artifacts for use by VA senior leaders. The custom visualizations shall include updates and customer assistance. Defense Industry (US Army) Opportunity: Program Executive Office Command Control Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) Project Manager Mission Command (PM MC) Data Catalog This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by PEO C3T Project Manager Mission Command to provide the United States (U.S.) Army industry feedback on current state of Data Catalog and capabilities that may provide a solution for the next generation of Mission Command system. PEO C3T Project Manager Mission Command is seeking a Data Catalog (DC) capability to provide users with a single source to access multiple authoritative data sources that are tagged with metadata to help the Soldier identify and leverage the necessary data products for their specific domain. The DC is intended to be a self-service capability for use by Data Scientist users in Army units. In the rapidly evolving threat-based environment the Soldier can be inundated and overwhelmed with an abundance of data. The ability to sift through the volumes of information and find the specific pieces needed to execute a mission and keep Leadership informed in the fluid space of the battlefield requires sophisticated tools and algorithms to stay abreast of the fight. A data catalog is a record of an organization’s existing data. It is a library where an organizations’ data is indexed, organized, and stored. Most data catalogs contain data sources, data usage information, and data lineage that describes the origin of the data and how it changed to its final form. With a data catalog, organizations can centralize information so that they can identify what data they have, distinguish data based on its quality and source. The sections below outline the requirements to deliver a Data Catalog capability to provide the Soldier with the tools to manage the data and use it as a force multiplier.
