Kaffe Bueno Inaugurates The World’s First Coffee Biorefinery Last Friday was a historical day – Kaffe Bueno introduced a beacon of transformative bioscience at the grand opening of the world’s first Coffee Biorefinery in Copenhagen, Denmark 🌱 🌍 Why is this of any relevance to history? Well, coffee has always been known as a caffeinated drink ☕ Now, this biorefinery will enable us to scale up and prove to the world it is much more than just a beverage. Plus, it will dramatically reduce emissions within the industries responsible for society's well-being: Personal Care, Human Nutrition, Animal Health, and Crop and Soil Health. How? By effectively replacing petrochemicals, synthetics and unsustainable natural ingredients, such as Argan or Palm Oil. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to say thank you to all of our investors, team, partners, media, friends and family who joined and celebrated with us at the inauguration 🙏 Read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/e_KmacMf #coffeebiorefinery #buenomovement #coffeerevolution #sustainability

Title: ACP Coffee Project: ITC Coffee Manual for Farmers and Agro-processors🌱☕ Hey LinkedIn fam! I'm thrilled to share my incredible experience being part of the ACP Coffee Project this year. 🌍🚀 Funded by the EU and spearheaded by the International Trade Center (ITC) and CSIR-Food Research Institute, this project aimed to revolutionize the world of coffee production. 🌱✨ From sustainable coffee cultivation practices to eco-efficient processing, our mission was to enhance the entire coffee value chain. 🌿🌐 Throughout this journey, I had the privilege of meeting experts from renowned institutions such as GSA, ACRAM, FDA, CRIG, MOFA, and GEPA exchanging insights and ideas that pushed the boundaries of innovation in the coffee industry. I also have the opportunity to reconnect with my undergraduate project supervisor, Dr Joycelyn Quansah. ☕💡 One of the most eye-opening aspects was discovering the wide range of products that can be derived from coffee. From the obvious classics like coffee beans and grounds to exciting new possibilities like coffee-infused skincare products and culinary delights, the potential seemed limitless! 💫🌟 But the project's impact extended far beyond just product diversification. We focused on fostering better local, regional, and global market integration, empowering coffee growers and producers to achieve sustainable growth and improved production performance. 📈🌍 This project truly reinforced the importance of collaboration, sustainability, and eco-conscious practices in the coffee industry. It's not just about a cup of joe; it's about creating a positive and lasting impact on the environment, communities, and economies. 🌎💚 I'm incredibly grateful for the knowledge and experiences gained from this project. It's energized me to continue championing sustainability, innovation, and positive change in every aspect of my work. Together, we can transform the coffee industry and create a better future for everyone involved. ☕💪 If you're as passionate about coffee and sustainability as I am, I'd love to connect and hear your thoughts on driving positive change in our beloved industry. Let's collaborate and make a difference together! 🌱✨ #ACPCoffeeProject #SustainableCoffee #Innovation #PositiveChange #CoffeeIndustry #LetsCollaborate #CSIR_FRI

Hands-on CEO of Cecafé, professor and visionary. I have been promoting Brazilian coffees around the world as the key person in any discussion within industry organizations, governments to create a favourable environment
SCTA Coffee Dinner & Forum 2023. Panel “Will pre-competitive approaches help or hinder?”. How will industry associations and other collaborative platforms evolve to support the urgent transition to positive impact at scale? How will they ensure practical implementation? Cecafé - Conselho dos Exportadores de Café do Brasil - presented the Brazilian Traceability Platform, developed by Serasa Experian and implemented institutionally and with the necessary adaptations in progress by partners. Traceability and transparency create awareness!!!! The platform shows how Brazilian coffee production has evolved in terms of sustainability in recent decades, the experience of the Forest Code and the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) in obtaining polygons and geolocated data, as well as the current level of forest conservation in the producing regions. We do believe that coffee organizations are open to exchange experiences, create global benchmarks, adapt technologies and promote income and social inclusion. UE new regulations: working together! Prague, London, Basel, Tampa, Brazil This union is our best way of showing policymaker the reality of countries and how to encourage trade in times of ESG, with commitments made and concrete actions against all illegalities. Possibly the crappiest beer in the world. Hipster-Mecca ups the stakes with beer from recycled wastewater. As a beer aficionado - I want one ☝️🍺 💩 Water company Xylem, together with researchers at the Technical University of Munich, are brewing beer using purified wastewater. The beer is called Reuse Brew. The water used has both been filtered and gone through other processes before being used for beer brewing. Visitors at the International Trade Fair for Sewage Technology, #IFAT2024, will have an opportunity to to have a sip at the Xylem booth. If Reuse Brew will ever retail remains to be seen. Combination of beer AND sustainability - why would we ever NOT want this? 😍 Would you want one? React with a 👏 if you'd like to taste and a ❤️ if you'd want the beer on wholesale. Come on Internet - together we can make this happen! https://lnkd.in/dMtywPzb #nilssoderstrom #reusebrew #brewyou #energytech #greentech
