Super-Automatic vs. Traditional Coffee Machines… A never ending battle 🤺 What we at Growyourroastery.com have learned the following over the last 5 years in practice: If you are skilled you can create outstanding coffee drinks with both of them. But here comes the difference‼️ The only difference is whether the skilled person has to stand in front of the machine or can manage several hundred machines simultaneously. Thanks for creating such valuable reports Miranda Caldwell, MBA where you highlight (amongst others) the potential of super automatic coffee machines for coffee shops (and other businesses) without the necessary skills at hand. So the question left is: WHO brings the skills to all of these machines then? We see most potential in the Roaster taking this role. Do you disagree? Let me know.

Brewing up a storm!....sang the Irish band “The Stunning”, the song featured as the sixth track on the 1990 album “Paradise in the Picturehouse” (well worth a listen)….in the beverages, category tea based drinks are definitely “brewing up a storm”, with an ever increasing number of beverages launches with a tea base, whether it is with traditional RTD flavoured iced teas, or with an alcohol content, with Twisted Tea, Lipton’s Hard Team, Monster “Nasty Beast” Hard Tea and announced this week “Dunkin’ Spiked” range of alcohol infused coffee and tea drinks, as well as innovative taste and sensory experiences in the foodservice channel with products such as bubble tea. Tea has a “healthy halo” to it and we are seeing more and more functional beverage launches with tea base, just two examples are; in the USA, Backyard Tea, created with a base of Keemun black tea, infused with 5mg of hemp-derived Delta-9 in three flavors: Black & Lemon, Peaches N' Tea, and Raspberry. The last two deliver 25 calories a piece and there is also Space Tea which combines a base of ultra-premium organic teas with functional Reishi and Lion’s Mane mushrooms, which offer uplifting energy and mental clarity. Lots of exciting innovation with tea and lots more to come in the near future….Brewing up a storm indeed! #tea #functionalbeverages #backyardtea #taste #bubbletea Matt Dimmer Paul Villis Carol Dunne Mark Gallo Jason Westplate David Whaite Joshua Schall, MBA Isobel O'Neill Mark Allen Nina Riggins Amanda Wolff Jim Watson

Some consumers prefer a simple drip coffee, while others appreciate barista-quality coffee beverages and some just want something ready to drink when they're craving a cup of joe. Here are some insights into the coffee-drinking preferences of Chinese Gen Z customers: 1. **Rise in Coffee Consumption:** Chinese Gen Z consumers have been increasingly adopting coffee as part of their daily routines. This generation has shown a growing interest in coffee culture, driven by factors like globalization, urbanization, and exposure to Western trends. 2. **Preference for Specialty Coffee:** Gen Z consumers in China tend to show a preference for specialty coffee rather than just basic coffee drinks.
