Vanessa Colella’s Post

I love the mental clarity that comes from getting outside.     Especially when there’s a pause like this from the usual June Gloom of San Francisco. Running is one of the best parts of my day — the fresh air, the endorphins from getting some needed exercise, the change of scenery, and the steady routine of it all.     I recently went camping with my son and captured these photos on my morning run. Since I don’t wear headphones, it was a nice surprise to hear some gentle deer prancing.     What part of your routine keeps you grounded?

Hi Vanessa, How cool is that!!! Yes being outside in the fresh aur and getting some exercise is always good for the soul and the body. I live on the ocean just a few minutes south of Pismo Beach. We love the beach. I even though of buying a vintage 1940 Ford Woodie for the weekends. Be well, Steve😎

Glad I saw this via Isabel, what a great share Vanessa, thank you. Our brain high on great outdoors is unstoppable. Completely agree: nature - no headphones - be present. (thought those were Impalas ... then paused and read the post... guess not in Cali :)). Beautiful scenery.

Early morning workouts, they are very sacred and part of my routine. I rarely book anything else over that time, it just helps me bring my best self to work and life in general.
