The 1976 F1 season ignited the worldwide popularity of Formula 1! The breathtaking battle between Niki Lauda and James Hunt is carved in history. Here is what I've learned from reading "Rush to Glory" by Tom Rubython: 🔥 When you think things can't get any worse, they will. But the same is true in reverse. 🚀 The road to success is many times paved with challenges, strong doubts and dark thoughts. Niki Lauda contemplated suicide at some point in his early career. 🏆 You never know who's watching you, so always give your best shot. Enzo Ferrari noticed Lauda's exceptional performance at Monaco Grand Prix in 1973, which set him on the path to greatness. 💪 Sometimes, all it takes is ONE person to believe in you. For James Hunt, that one person from the McLaren team paved the way for his remarkable career. ⌛ It's never too late to pursue your passion. James Hunt discovered his love for F1 relatively late, at 18 years old. His story encourages us to explore our interests, even if it seems like we're starting later than others. 😰 It's okay to feel nervous before significant events. James Hunt's pre-race jitters show that even the best can experience anxiety. 🌟 Success can be as challenging to maintain as it is to achieve. Staying at the top requires continuous effort and dedication. 🏁 It's not over until it's over! The gripping finale of the 1976 championship, with Hunt winning by a single point, reminds us never to give up, even when the odds seem against us. #f1 #sport #hope #victory #learn #grit #perseverance

I was watching the F1 Montreal race yesterday. George Russel was in second trying to overtake Max Verstappen for the lead. He missed the execution and actually lost second place to Lando Norris. This can only be speculation, but it seemed like he was so focused that on overtaking and being in first that he lost sight and therefore his attention on what was most important. Whether that be the correct strategy for overtaking, being in the right place on the track, or any number of things. There are so many moving parts, at such high speeds in F1 it’s hard to say what the right place and the right time to focus attention is. However, I can say one thing. Focusing on the person ahead of you and the place you are not in is likely the wrong place to focus when you’re trying to execute a precise and accurate maneuver.

We created the F1 Challenge in honor of Max Verstappen, who won his third consecutive F1 World Championship Title. It’s amazing to see the hard work, determination, and focus of the talented Formula 1 driver. I am proud that Verstappen and his coach, Brad, chose BlazePod to help prepare for each race and utilize our smart reaction training platform to enhance his reaction time and fire up his neurons before he hits the circuit. Want to train like Max? Take the F1 Challenge, and see how many Pods you can tap out in 20 seconds! Tap the shared activity and let me know how you do: https://lnkd.in/dJsP8kTg

Yes, but unfortunately it's not just Mathematics that they're crazy about, it also applies to children's learning ability to be able to write by hand and then spell, which will also lead to the enjoyment of reading being disturbed. Testing the Alphabet Keyboard Idea Yes, think entrance that there are approx. 1.6 billion dyslexia in the WORLD and that is ONLY the dyslexic, the number comes from the USA. In addition, it turns out to be 30/60% faster and easier to write the right syllables and words with the Alphabet Keyboard Idea, which will benefit families and for schooling The children/bilingual and people with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, etc. The PRESENT is still connected with the PAST, unfortunately no one has thought of correcting the visual image of the Latin alphabet that appears on the keyboard. Here is a bit of my research. 🙇♂️ Would our keyboards today be round if the writing ball had been a success? In the 1860s, Rasmus Malling-Hansen invented the writing ball. Malling-Hansen was trained as a theologian, but worked as a teacher and superintendent at the Royal Institute for the Deaf and Dumb in Copenhagen. He discovered that you could communicate faster in sign language than with pen and ink, and got the idea to make a typewriter where you could use the fast hands. The keys on the writing ball were carefully positioned so that the fastest fingers could reach the most frequently used letters. The writing ball was not a commercial success, although it won several awards and was in many international exhibitions. The lack of success was probably due to Malling-Hansen lacking the means to get the writing ball out into the world. If the writing ball had become a commercial success, our keyboards might have looked different today. In the exhibition Smartphonemania at the Technical Museum of Denmark you can see three different versions of the writing ball. #skrivekugle #danmarkstekniskemuseum #smartphonemania #mallinghansen After that came the first old heavy iron model typewriters with the round keys, and the capital letters that were put on the keys were designed for use on his Invention Ball typewriter, to the first plastic model Commodore 64 where the keys on the keyboard were slightly more square which came in 1982 and it is still the same today, even if the keys have plenty of space on the key button today, it has NEVER BEEN LNDRED🙇♂️ No one thought to add the lowercase letters with the uppercase letters of the Latin alphabet on the keys. The visual impression of the standard keyboard has proven to be confusing for beginners. All keys have the same colors and contain only the uppercase letters, which the smallest children rarely use and see most of, from the children's books that parents read to the children in the first years. From tomorrow's Business of Motorsport column: If you are wondering whether the current F1 teams reticence to admit any new teams to the F1 grid is a current phenomena, it is not. I am currently reading the excellent book The Toleman Story: Last Romantics in Formula 1 by Christopher Hilton. Here is a quote from Toleman Team Manager Alex Hawkridge as they were preparing to enter Formula 1 in 1981: "The Teams in Formula 1 just want the status quo, just want things to stay the way they are. Anyone coming along and rocking the boat..." #Formula 1 #businessofmotorsport

To all the people who have worked with me. You know it takes me longer to explain myself, I get into explaining tiny details and how they interconnect, and we might get lost in the conversation. Jackie Stewart here explains it so well! The good thing is I have the chance to work with so many beautiful colleagues and managers who take the time to listen to the many details, to be honest, and tell me when we got lost in translation or disagreed so we can try to explain each other again, have a #strengthsbasedleadership and collaborate better for the highest #impact.

Verstappen 🇳🇱 wins for the 8th race in row! 16 laps it took him to get from 6th on the grid to first after a rule infringement meant a five grid place penalty after qualifying. There’s varying opinions out there about Formula One, ‘put them all in the same car’ or it’s only about the car the driver has nothing to do with it’ etc Truth is like him or loathe him Verstappen is a class driver, car set ups do vary within the team so Perez not being as good as Maxx, coupled with a car set up which could be impacting his performance, means that he usually will finish behind him. So, this leads me to a possible swerve ball, which will never happen, but what if Hamilton was Maxx’s new stable mate?! How would team orders be distributed in that situation? Would we be served up an absolute dog fight every other Sunday through the F1 season? I am not discounting Alonso in this conversation who in my opinion could be considered the best driver on the grid, and would also be a worthy adversary in a similar car, but that’s also a decent debate to have!! #f1 #verstappen #hamilton

🚩 The Elder Statesman and the Young Bucks The recent news of Lewis signing a further two-year contract with the Silver Arrows and his statement about ‘unfinished business’ could make him the oldest F1 champion in over 65 years. If he succeeds in his ambition, he could be the oldest world champion since Fangio. But equally importantly are the young bucks in the sport. Ferrari sees the youngest pairing in F1 since 1968. Today, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr. The last time for Ferrari was in 1968 with Chris Amon and Jacky Ickx. But there have been a number of ‘youngsters’ who have driven in F1. ♖Daniil Kvyat (19 years, 324 days) ♖Chris Amon (19 years, 324 days) ♖Esteban Tuero (19 years, 320 days) ♖Fernando Alonso (19 years, 218 days) ♖Ricardo Rodríguez (19 years, 208 days) ♖Mike Thackwell (19 years, 182 days) ♖Jaime Alguersuari (19 years, 125 days) ♖Lando Norris (19 years, 124 days) ♖Lance Stroll (18 years, 148 days) ♖Max Verstappen (17 years, 166 days) If Lewis does become the oldest F1 champion and Max Verstappen became the youngest F1 driver to have entered F1, it begs the question, young or old? How would Age and Experience, wisdom and knowledge, stability and maturity, patience and perspective? Compared with Youth and Energy, innovative thinking, adaptability, high energy levels, ambition, drive and risk-taking. Who would be a Team Principal?

2moThe two-time champion, Fernando Alonso, is clearly relishing this season. A veteran with incredible racing instincts, he's been wheel-to-wheel with legends like Michael Schumacher, Mika Hakkinen, Kimi Raikkonen, and a host of others. It must be Valvoline!! makes your engine feel like new Parveen Khokher 😀
