Chef German culinary journey began at Cut Steak House within The Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where he spent two years perfecting his skills, progressing from Prep Cook to Cook 1. Following this, he transitioned to the role of Food and Beverage Manager at the Courtyard By Marriott, where he managed operations for three years, showcasing his leadership prowess and dedication to excellence.
In March 2017, German joined Vallarta Supermarkets as a Menu Innovation Support Lead. His passion for culinary creativity and strategic thinking quickly earned him a promotion to Innovation Chef in 2019. In this role, he continued to elevate Vallarta's culinary offerings with his innovative flair and expertise.
When asked what motivated him to continue advancing his career with Vallarta, German shared “As a chef, I'm driven by my passion for cooking and delivering exceptional culinary experiences. German’s proven track record of success and dedication to culinary innovation have led him to his most recent promotion as Director of Culinary, taken effect April 1, 2024. In this role will lead the company's culinary vision and strategy, ensuring the highest standards of quality across all locations.
