As many of you know, the Northampton Saints Foundation are our charity of 2023. They work with young people who are disengaged from mainstream education to help them regain control of their academic pathway. The Foundation uses the values of rugby to INSPIRE, SUPPORT and EDUCATE. The Foundations’ Engage Programme aims to get participant out of everyday routines in different surrounds with people who can give them support for such issues, as behavioural problems, or mental health issues. The aim is to improve confidence, self-esteem, and communication skills, providing them with essential tools to break down barriers and face life's challenges. The ultimate goal of the programme is to reintegrate and re-engage every young person in learning and put them on a positive path toward their future. Over the last two years, children across Ukraine have suffered trauma, dislocation, and loss. Children are left unsettled, lacking routines, and dealing with the loss of caregivers, family, and friends.
