Given a detailed GDB stacktrace with local variables and the relevant C++ code, ChatGPT suggested a valid fix for a rather hairy and an underdocumented function, saving several hours worth of debugging. The fix has been running fine in testing for several days now. Impressive stuff. LLM's certainly aren't masters of everything just yet, but used right they are a great timersaver. #llm #chatgpt #c++
