It makes complete sense for companies to upskill and reskill existing talent to "future proof" their workforces. This piece touches on an important consideration: persuading employees that a new career path is right for them. Dynamic career paths and growth opportunities are positive for both companies and employees. But I believe there has to be a balance between tapping into employees' natural strengths and interests, and developing them into new roles.
