🍷 Fine Wine Specialist | C-Level Executive Experience | Skilled in Tech Innovation, Product Strategy & Agile Development
Rebuilding Trust, One Sip at a Time 🍷 My journey from a business executive to a fine wine representative has been quite the adventure so far. Working in the Mid Cities area of DFW has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The area is vast, and in the past, we’ve faced challenges with execution and follow-through for the accounts we service for various reasons. But challenges are just opportunities in disguise, right? I’m currently on a mission to rebuild and strengthen relationships with our valued steadfast accounts while also forging new business connections. This process demands patience, strategy, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of each account. One of the most effective tools in my arsenal has been supplier ride-alongs. By bringing our suppliers directly into the fold, I can bridge gaps created by past missteps and showcase our unwavering commitment to excellence and reliability. These ride-alongs not only build trust but also demonstrate the exceptional value and quality of the wines we represent. Transparent communication is at the heart of this rebuilding process. By ensuring our accounts have clear visibility into inventory numbers and forecasting, I help them understand their inventory status and anticipate potential issues. For instance, with 450 units of a particular SKU in stock and multiple accounts buying varying amounts steadily, proactive planning is crucial for optimal placement adjustments. I am excited to continue this journey, transforming the Mid Cities into a thriving hub for the fine wines we represent and fostering relationships built on trust and mutual respect. Here’s to new beginnings and a future filled with outstanding wine and even greater partnerships! Cheers y’all 🍷 #WineSales #BusinessStrategy #MidCitiesDFW #CustomerRelationships #Trust #Transparency

Cracking #enterprise sales is really tough... and very few companies do it successfully. Thanks to a lot of hard work, and many, many lessons along the way, we've figured out how to do it. We now have over 25+ enterprise clients - some of the biggest #brands in the drinks industry, and operate in over 50+ countries. So.. how did we get that first one? Over a decade ago Craig was asked by an existing client to work on a concept… he spent months interviewing the team, scoping out a product, drawing up plans… only for it to be rejected in favor of another company. Not one to rest on his laurels, Craig jumped on a train and pitched it to Pernod Ricard.. more specifically Mark Makin... Mark took a punt on us. He said yes, and can we have it next week? 😂 Pernod is now one of our best customers, we are live with hyble across 12 markets, and enjoy an amazing relationship. All it takes is one person to believe in you. To give you a chance. We are forever grateful to Mark for being that person 🙏 Stay tuned for more insights into the world of enterprise #sales, PMF and scaling internationally – tap the 🔔 for more! It's #conferenceseason in the #apartmentindustry. That means great learning, wonderful #networking, and fun events hosted by our #industrypartners. In the last few days, I've had some interesting conversations with some #multifamily suppliers that were sadly #eyeopening. And I'd be remiss if I didn't share some (horrifying) feedback I received with my LinkedIn network. We started talking about the behavior of some (definitely not the majority)of #apartmentmanagement employees at some of these events. And I have to say, I was left speechless. And if you know me at all, that's hard to do. Here's what I learned: *At some lunches hosted by our industry partners, people actually order 'dinner to go' at the same time. #unbelievable. *Some people accept tickets to great events and then don't even bother to respond to follow-up emails or calls by the company that gave them the tickets. *Some sit down at dinner and order the 'most expensive bottle of wine' (that's a quote) without asking what type of wine it is. *This behavior is followed up with, "What's the most expensive thing on the menu?" and proceeding to order that. *Some call an industry partner (that they have rudely blown off) to ask for a job. Why would a supplier hire someone who has never used their product? I could - sadly - go on and on with these behaviors. Let's make a point to treat our partners with the respect they deserve. We wouldn't have our events without them. They literally fund EVERYTHING with their generosity. I am still completely gobsmacked by these behaviors. #multfamilyoperations #multifamilymarketing #multfamilyleasing #apartmentleasing #apartmentmarketing #apartmentindustry #apartmentsuppliers #suppliers #multifamilypartners

Did you know: The restaurant buffet, shunned by diners during the pandemic, is making a big comeback, The New York Times reported in June. While these communal feasts were uniquely ill-suited for COVID times – and even for some time afterward – inflation and their all-you-can-eat appeal are driving a resurgence. “The media called buffets zombie companies — we didn’t know we were dead,” Lance Trenary, CEO of Golden Corral, whose 360 restaurants offer unlimited helpings of 150 different items for less than $20, told the NYTs. Buffets are found at low-priced chain restaurants and as expensive lavish spreads at Las Vegas hotels. Demand is so strong that the Bellagio in May reopened its signature buffet for dinner, with 120 choices. The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace, the largest in Las Vegas, recently got a nearly $10 million face-lift and added two extra days to its brunch schedule, NYTs reports. Recruiting FinTech. SaaS and Payments professionals | SaaS | PayTech | RegTech | C-Suite | Payments | Recruiter | Banking Technology | 25 years as a Fortune 100 Sales team Leader and Coach
Sales Excellence is a critical part of any successful business culture. One of our colleagues shared their experience of attending the Academy Awards for their national sales team, a night that was usually held at a fabulous resort. Winning the award for top sales achievement was something they thought about throughout the year, and it was a great motivator to work harder. However, it seems that the recognition for top sales has been reduced to gift cards and a weekend in Orlando. While no offense to Orlando, it just doesn't compare to a week in Maui. Have we lost something by eliminating awards night for sales excellence? Share your thoughts in the comments. #salesexcellence #motivation #businessculture #salesawards

“Great things in business are never done by one person; they are done by a team of people.” - Steve Jobs Once a family-owned coffee shop ‘Delight Brews’ was nestled in a quaint neighborhood. Despite serving excellent coffee, they could not expand beyond their loyal customer base. What should they do for business growth? That’s where business collaborations have a key role. Their neighbour was a pastry shop called ‘Sweet Indulgence’. By collaborating with them Delight Brews started to offer coffee alongside the delectable pastries. This helped both businesses to expand their customer base and hence growth. Yes, collaborations are the answer to business expansion. Key reasons why you should collaborate: 1. Access to new markets 2. Cost-effective growth 3. Leads to innovations 4. Enhances credibility 5. Risk mitigation 6. Scale more rapidly 7. Customer retention and loyalty 8.
