A recent Financial Times article highlights the growing support for education across Africa, a trend that's particularly significant to us at Millar Cameron.
As we continue to support our client Honoris United Universities, it's great to see a growing emphasis on cultivating entrepreneurial talent in Africa, with European, US and Chinese business schools increasingly turning their focus to Africa - recognising the immense potential of a young, ambitious demographic.
As Africa’s largest pan-African private education group Honoris has a vision to transform Africa by preparing young leaders to operate successfully through relevant education, and the global networks and partnerships these European Business Schools bring to the continent will represent a significant step towards making this a reality.
In line with this, our ongoing work with the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) further supports this trend, with an increased emphasis on education and the pooling of expertise.
AERC has been pivotal to informing economic policies in sub-Saharan Africa. Their work in integrating economic policy research, postgraduate training, and policy outreach within a network of researchers, universities, and policymakers is essential for the continent's growth and prosperity.
