I wrote this piece about what the Digital Health can learn from Big Pharma. No matter what your viewpoint on the pharmaceutical industry, one thing is true — it does world-class and world-changing science. And it does it in a systematic, rigorous, repeatable process. Digital health has made so much progress, but until we bring this same level or rigor, we’ll land shy of their scale and impact. https://lnkd.in/ekYedXKE

From Day 1 as an employee, I could never let myself believe or conceive how amazingly incredible Heartbeat Health's push with Dr. Wessler's team would be. I enjoyed helping the geriatric population in the SNF facilities in New York via telemedicine practice.. This might be, in a highly germane way, the beauty and facilitation of a realistically virtual world of medical practice. It beats the prior idealism of hard sweat work, and replaces it with ease driven, results powered, and company motivated capitalistic drive to achieve a more or less seamless virtual standard of practice. When it is not quite appropriate through to treat patients who are better suited for in-patient practice, it ultimately leaves a great resource to refer to nearby Cornell Hospital facilities. I enjoyed my work with Heartbeat Health for 4 years, then had to leave for personal reasons. Many days were tough, but relatively no other days where I couldn't smile at the amazing virtual practice of medicine and achievement culture Heartbeat Health promotes. It is disheartening when wonderful hospitals such as Beth Israel shut down, but that is where Heartbeat Health's remote help saves the day! Thank you.
