Unless this rightly placed advocacy is paired with well-considered and tactfully expressed clarity on the values held by the community being wrongfully demonized due to overcorrections, overreactions, and overly divisive interactions this kind of messaging will only serve to feed the self-righteous extremists who’ve co-opted liturgy for their direct personal benefit
