What are the different job statuses on USAJOBS and what do they mean? • Accepting applications: This job announcement is open and accepting applications. You can apply now. • Reviewing applications: The job announcement is closed, and the hiring agency is reviewing applications. This status will display until the hiring process is complete. • Hiring complete: Hiring is completed, and the position is filled. • Job canceled: The agency withdrew the job announcement and did not hire anyone. Does the federal government offer part-time positions and how can I find them? Yes. Applicants interested in part-time positions in the federal government can search for part-time work using the search filters that appear on the right side of the search results page.  On the search results page: • Go to the Filters section. • Go to Work schedule. • Select Part-time. Your search results will update to include only part-time jobs.
