We're hiring a School Liaison in Everett, WA! If you're passionate about education and supporting military families, this role is for you. 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: • Salary: $34.36 - $42 per hour • Application Deadline: - 1st round: July 22, 2024 - 2nd round: August 5, 2024 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: • Serve as the subject matter expert on K-12 educational matters for military families. • Lead the integration of military children into local school systems. • Collaborate with local school officials, parents, and installation leadership. • Develop and coordinate joint installation/community/school activities. • Advocate for military children’s education and support parents in navigating school systems. The Leadership in Training (LIT) Executive students participate in a specialized Child and Youth Programs (CYP) training at Naval Base San Diego. Tasked with providing hands-on learning during the six-week course, Brittany Samis and Melanie Hannibal designed the training around a "cruise" theme, with activities that highlight the importance of CYP programs in the Navy.
