As I read about K Health's new AI agent, it becomes clear how personalised treatment will be in the future. While there may be other tech-based services available, here you already have algorithms based on sifting through real-life clinical data. Patients may be able to gain more insights from their own EHR if they leverage this technology to better treat themselves. In this kind of setting, I am curious about what happens to the physician-patient encounter. K was 9% more accurate and 36% less prone to hallucinations. Although that's good, I still believe we need to improve in clinical settings. I think it's a great start, even though it's still early in the game. Well done Ran Shaul #patientsuseAI
To leverage the promise of LLM in medicine you need to ground them with truth and interact with a person's medical history. This will benefit people from all ages and abilities. For seniors it will be highly important as they often feel left out in the healthcare system. As well, it will benefit people with disabilities.
