I just wanted to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves! This page is a bit dusty...so let's refresh!! Urban Wellness is a clinician-focused, woman, neurodivergent (AuDHD), lesbian owned group private practice in Chicago on a mission to eliminate mental health stigma by creating awareness of, appreciation for, and acceptance of mental health self-care. We strive to help members of our communities reconnect with the things that are truly important and thrive both in their own lives and in their relationships. Our team is multicultural and inclusive. Our clinicians represent a wide range of racial and ethnic groups and religions. Our diversity includes clinicians who identify as Black, Asian, Latinx, LGBTQ, 1st generation citizens, as neurodiverse and more. We make wellness a down-to-earth practice starting in-house with the team that we have built. But who are we really?? We are a group of people, all kinds of people trying to help other people be the best versions of themselves. We are human, flawed, and imperfect. We are trying to decolonize therapy, break the stigma, grow, learn, and laugh (mostly at ourselves) along the way. We are excited to show you who we are and what we do. Glad you can join us!
