THE BEST WEEK OF THE YEAR IS HERE! MASTERS WEEK! WICKWIRE REAL ESTATE CORDIALLY INVITES YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WRE 2024 MASTERS POOL HOW IT WORKS The field is automatically separated into 6 tiers based on odds. Everyone picks a golfer from each tier giving you a team of 6 golfers. Your team score will only include the best 4 out of your 6 golfers - the worst 2 scores are dropped. The best team score at the end of the tournament wins the pool. A score of 80 will be automatically entered for the weekend scores of golfers who miss the cut. *IMPORTANT CAVEAT TO THE FORMAT* - IN ORDER TO WIN THE POOL, THE GOLFER THAT WINS THE MASTERS TOURNAMENT MUST BE 1 OF YOUR 6 GOLFERS!!! If only one person picks the winner, that person automatically wins the pool regardless of scores of their other golfers. If multiple people pick the winner, the one with the best overall team score wins. When you enter your picks, you’ll be asked to enter a winning score prediction for tie breaker purposes. Second tie breaker will be whoever’s best golfer has a better score. Third tie breaker will be whoever’s second best golfer has a better score. So on and so forth if needed. Winner of the pool takes all the money + a free round of golf with me!!! HOW TO JOIN THE POOL Venmo $50 to @AustinWickwire Pick your team of golfers here: https://lnkd.in/etXNqfhA LIVE LEADERBOARD Follow the action live https://lnkd.in/e_U4vPKw If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. If you could also please send me an email or shoot me a text letting me know you joined the pool so I can make sure to double check that you paid the entry fee. THANK YOU FOR PLAYING AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

"We are here for the golfers, and without them, there is no golf club. That is our main driver for using feedback". - shares Anna Wickberg, Golf Club Manager at Idrefjällens Golfklubb. Effective teamwork and the use of feedback have greatly facilitated her role as a Golf Club Manager. 📊 Wickberg considers it crucial to provide data-driven arguments when suggesting potential improvements to the golf course and presenting these proposals to the Board or other club decision-makers. And the Players 1st Surveys offers exactly that: Clear, documented insights into what golfers enjoy and dislike. #sverige #customerexperiencemanagement #golfindustry #growthegame

I absolutely love the Open Championship... I can get up at 4 in the morning (much to the chagrin of my wife) and watch golf live on TV! There are other things that I enjoy about this particular Championship though. It is inevitable that you will see names on the leaderboard that you have never heard of before...most of which rise to the top only to fade as the 4 day test moves along. We see some top ranked players look like mere mortals as this style of golf amplifies mistakes. But most of all I love this Championship because it requires of the winner the same qualities required to be a successful business leader. Attitude: this tournament is 4 days...72 holes... that will challenge a persons ability to maintain a positive attitude. There are no holes off...each hole requires you to pay attention to details and make clear decisions. Adaptability: I can't think of any other event where conditions can change so dramatically within the course of a round. Your ability to adjust to not only weather conditions but also a completely different style of play than what is the norm in professional golf most weeks. Putting from 40 yards off of a green, bunkers that require hitting out sideways or backwards, and aiming away from pins or at middle of greens to avoid one of those bunkers. The champion is the person who adapts better than the competition. Acceptance: with this style of golf on this kind of course you are going to hit good shots and get bad bounces. You are going to be tested in ways that will tempt you to feel like the golf gods are against you. You are also going to hit some bad shots that will get a good bounce which can get you thinking maybe this is my day. It is the player that can take both of those things in stride and continue to focus on the next shot not getting too high or too low that has the best chance to win. No doubt Xander Schauffele exhibited all of those qualities in winning this years Open Championship. In business having the right attitude, the ability to adapt to conditions, and the grace to accept the good with the bad can be the difference between companies that succeed and those who fail. So remember to give it your best shot...keep the ball in play... and Business+Golf=Success !

Rory Mcilroy has won 24 times on the PGA Tour! 😱 He’s one of the winningest players to ever hit a golf ball. And yet, here he is getting some pointers from putting guru Brad Faxon on the practice green after a round last week. He spent hours after his round hitting six foot putts until he figured out what wasn’t working in his game that day. You’d think after a lifetime of winning on the golf course Rory would be way better than to be practicing something as simple as short putts at the end of a long day of competitive golf. Wrong. This is what the great ones do: 1. Consistently and rigorously practice the simple but most important things. 2. Work with a mentor who can help guide the way. I was so inspired when I saw Rory practicing in this way last week. His dedication to winning shows in his work ethic and in his results. It caused me to ask myself (and I challenge you to do the same): 1. What are the simple things that I should be rigorously practicing each week? 2. Who are the mentors in my life that I should be leaning on more for help? Rory’s onto something here… ☺️ #rorymcilroy #practice #mentors

Congrats to Xander Shauffele on being Champion Golfer of the Year! As I watched the Open Championship this past weekend, I found myself thinking about a few things. 1. Golf is a fickle sport - Rory McIlroy (one of my favorite players) finished t-4 last week at a somewhat similar course but missed the cut (badly) this week. 2. Links style golf levels the playing field like no other type of course. 3. In order to be a truly successful golfer you need to have a game that works on all types of course and all types of conditions. For example, a bomb and gauge approach doesn't work on a links style course. It is the last point that has really had me thinking. Similar to golfers, truly successful investors need an investment strategy that works well in all market conditions. A well-diversified portfolio that is driven and guided by long-term goals allows you to best weather difficult markets while also participating well in bull markets. If you are wondering if your portfolio is properly diversified and aligned with your goals, I'd be more than happy to do a complimentary analysis for you. Book time with me or send me a DM to start that process.
