If one watches the #News one has be extremely #disappointed with the behaviour of GOVERNMENTS and POLITICIANS Worldwide. Israel Yemen Sub-Saharan Africa Cambodia N. Korea Russia (Putin) Myanmar etc. Afghanistan (treating women) Iran same. Ordinary People ARE NOT IMPRESSED WITH OUR GOVERNMENTS POLITICANS who keep escalating things. Our Governments including Australia HOW YOU ARE MISMANAGING OUR FINANCES! AND SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR LYING! We have major pressing #overpopulation issues; #polution issues; #environmental issues where MONEY TAXPAYERS MONEY should be going to and you are spending it on #arms and #ammunition. But when I read efforts to genuinely de-escalate our Man-Made Tensions CAN WE PLEASE WORK ON THOSE THINGS TO BRING ABOUT PEACE AND STABILITY! Thank you South China Post! 😊 https://lnkd.in/gKCkBjMM

We expect that the National Bank of #Ethiopia (#NBE)’s brand new #monetarypolicy framework will enable the authorities to manage inflationary pressures more proactively, given that it largely represents a shift towards more orthodox policy. New measures include the creation of a National Bank Rate (NBR), representing the central bank policy rate and initially set at 15.00%. This will anchor #interbank rates, aided by biweekly open market operations to ensure alignment. But, risks to our views are numerous, given how new the framework is, and given Ethiopia's various #macroeconomic challenges. Click the link below to read my full analysis!
