The University of San Diego Alumni Association has officially begun their pilgrimage along El Camino de Santiago! Our Toreros, alongside some of their friends and family members, started this incredible journey yesterday in Porto, Portugal. For the next twelve days, they will walk the beautiful coastal route, embracing both the tradition and the transformative experience of this historic path. El Camino de Santiago isn't just a religious pilgrimage; it's a journey for peace, health benefits, and self-reflection. As our 'peregrinos' (pilgrims) make their way, they’ll share a welcoming "Buen Camino" with fellow travelers, wishing them a great experience. We will continue to bring you updates on their progress and share their stories and experiences along the way.

Good luck to all of you and my prayers are with you. It is a fantastic experience and ending at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela where Saint James is buried is amazing. I am sure you will participate in the The Botafumeiro and pilgrim mass which is something you will never forget. Salud.
