Kyle Miller ’14 (BBA) started his journey at the University of San Diego with a clear goal: to be successful. What Miller didn’t anticipate was discovering a passion for social change. While at USD, he co-founded the anti-bullying nonprofit Lace Up Stand Up and gained hands-on business experience. His efforts led to a $4,000 award from USD’s Social Innovation Challenge and an internship with the Changemaker Hub, where he networked his way to his first big career break. Miller’s career trajectory took him from marketing at Tappy, which was later acquired by Tinder, to becoming VP of Product at Yahoo Mail. His journey is a testament to the power of taking risks, building networks and continuously learning. Miller’s advice to current Toreros: “Find mentors and build your network. The business world is smaller than you think, and those connections could unlock your next career opportunity.” Discover more about Miller's path from USD to Yahoo ⬇️ https://bit.ly/4ceDpIW
