U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions drew some strong reactions when he quoted Bible verse to support the border child separation policy. If you believe in God, then it's great to have a Bible, a Quran or a Torah to read and refer to, to understand the historical context of your faith. But when God speaks directly to the heart of a sincere person, a person who is motivated by love, is free from agenda or deceit, and who chooses to act in faith on that heart message, that is true scripture for the present moment.
