Just got back from a week in beautiful southern Illinois. A far cry from Houston’s heat, humidity and hurricanes! If you still live in the state, be sure to visit parts of the Shawnee National Forest. The park offers Garden of the Gods, Ferne Clyffe, Cave-in-Rock, and many other beautiful geological phenomena.
