Do you issue end of month debtor statements? If not, why? I have a supplier for a client who blatantly will not issue statements, when asked for one then asks me "are you looking for a particular invoice?" My reply: "I don't know, how do I know if you don't issue a statement? See my issue? As part of our month end checks we balance to supplier statements, so we have no nasty surprises down the track. You don't know what you don't know right? So how do we know if we are missing invoices, what our balance is or what is owing if we don't do our final checks and balances and get a statement?
