15 USGA teammates, 20 interns and nearly 1,200 volunteers, all led by Managing Director of Merchandise & Licensing Mary Lopuszynski. The team operating the 35,000 square-foot Merchandise Pavilion at the 124th U.S. Open has one goal: ensure every fan's experience is as good it can be.
The absolute best! Among the best experiences of any kind that an intern can enjoy and learn from. I don't know how it's been 15 years+ since I enjoyed this internship in 2008 at Torrey Pines and 2009 at Bethpage Black. Wow...I first visited for the 2007 at Oakmont and then had to pass up the opportunity at Pebble Beach due to being abroad for university. Mary is the very best! Special thanks to the USGA for making it possible for us all. See you at next year's U.S. Open, once again at Oakmont!
Congratulations to the United States Golf Association (USGA). Your team creates a fun and memorable experience. We're glad to see your hard work contribute to the USGA's mission.
Here you go... this is the primary mech tent Sunday night before Shinnecock 1996. This was one of best teams I have had the opportunity to work with. Can you locate Mary in the pic? Cowboy
Great memories of you all - best team ever ..
Mary, Katie, and team are the best! Being a Merch intern in 2014 is still one of my favorite experiences. Cheers to a great Champ Week!
Have fun & good luck this week!
